If we are believers and followers of Christ, we have the privilege of knowing and serving the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator of the Universe! Despite His power and all the splendor of His majesty (Psalm 145:5), He is a loving Father to His children.

⁣

He cares deeply for you and deals well with those that follow His Word. He will give you insight and discernment to deal wisely in all of your affairs. So, place all of your confidence in Him and keep your mind stayed on Him throughout the day. He will sustain you and provide you with His “perfect” peace (John 14:27) through it all. #TrustHim⁣

Regardless of how intellectually esteemed we may deem ourselves to be, it’s imperative for the believer to be totally dependent on the wisdom of God. To put confidence in anything else would be foolish, and the rotten fruits of that poor decision-making and pride will eventually bear witness in our lives. ⁣

The Word of God always encourages us to trust God and not to lean to our own understanding, regardless of how knowledgeable we may think we are in the process of our decision-making (Proverbs 3:5-6). God desires to give us “skillful and godly wisdom” - insight that we may not have been privy to otherwise. So, stay connected into your Spiritual Headquarters by praying in the Spirit. It’s your Father’s desire to give you direction and guidance for your life as you seek His will for your life. God’s got your back. Put your confidence in Him. #selah #devotional

The level of confidence and faith that we have in God will ultimately reveal itself through our actions and words. We serve the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords, who holds all power in His hand (Daniel 2:47, Matthew 28:18)! There’s no one who can compare to Him…period! ⁣

So, when we see through His Word that He instructs us to be strong and courageous, we should be honored and rejoice in that Truth because it reveals His love for us and the delegated authority that we can walk in as believers. God has not and will not abandon you. His arm is not short (Isaiah 59:1), and He is well able to see you through. Trust His plans for your life and the instructions that He has given to you. They are safe with Him, and He will not fail. ⁣⁣

When our focus is on representing our Heavenly Father well here on earth, then we will do our best to ensure that our “good name” is intact. How else can we properly represent a God so powerful and faithful? When we have a good name or reputation, whether on the job, with a lender or within your respective communities, you are looked upon more favorably and better opportunities will come your way. Oftentimes, the amount of what is saved or given to you when you have the favor of God is on your life is of greater value to you in the end, whether it’s received monetarily or in some other form. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

🙏 God, please give us the wisdom, strength and direction to represent you properly in our behavior, deeds and thoughts. Thank you for the favor that you have given us so freely and surrounded us with (Psalm 5:2). We are forever grateful for your love for us.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣

Christianity isn’t just a mere religion, it’s much more than that. It’s an intimate relationship with the Creator of the Universe - with the Creator of all mankind. Our salvation through Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, and from sin and death; but, the benefits of our relationship with the Heavenly Father don’t just stop there.

He desires to order our steps (Psalm 119:133), give us wisdom, guidance and discernment, as we keep our Spirit in tune with Him. Trust Him with the plans and purpose that He has ordained for your life only. We have the privilege of coming boldly into His presence at any time (Hebrews 4:16) and receiving His joy in the process. So, don’t neglect or take advantage of the perks of that relationship daily, starting today. Go to Him. He loves you!

We can put our confidence in the fact that if our requests please and honor God, that He will not only hear those prayers, but He will respond (1 John 5:14-15, Isaiah 65:24, John 14:14) . So, remove any doubt, un-forgiveness and ask God to reveal any other hindrances. Then wait patiently on God. You can depend on the Lord. He will never fail you! Rest IN Him this morning. 🛡 Christianity is often compared to battle or combat. Perhaps that’s because spiritual warfare has so many similarities to physical warfare. Furthermore, Jesus alluded to this by referencing our “overcoming” the world (John 16:33). If you have been born again, then through your faith in God and Jesus's victory on the cross, you’ve overcome this world! Just be sure to take a minute to reflect in the mirror of the Word to ensure that you are dressed for battle this morning with all your spiritual armor intact: the breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, etc. (Ephesians 6:10-18).

In addition, we are encouraged in Ephesians 6:18 to pray in tongues throughout the day and to be alert - we’re at war! However, there’s no need to fearful or anxious: God is with you, and you have already overcome every challenge that may come your way - known or unknown. We have the victory! #IAMVICTORY

When we walk in humility and cast down our cares, pride, anxieties, and worries and we lay them at the feet of Jesus, we better position ourselves for our Father to watch and protect us. In fact, He desires to honor us as we serve and represent His Kingdom. ⁣

As a matter of fact, if we were really equipped to carry all of the load ourselves, we wouldn’t be encouraged time and time again throughout the God’s Word to give them to God. Trust that God knows best for your life and stay connected to Him for the direction so that He can lead you. He is faithful. He will not abandon you. He knows best for your life!⁣

What path are you taking? Are you allowing God to take the lead in your life? If you are a child of God and have made the commitment to obey the instructions of your Father, God is leading you step by step - like a young child - in the path that He has desired and purposed just for you. He finds pleasure in doing it!

🧭 The Holy Spirit is the guide that He has graced us with to give direction to our spirit man while at the same time giving peace and comfort to our soul, regardless of how the path may appear to us. Sometimes the path God leads us on may be outside of our comfort zone, we may feel uneasy because it’s not what we’re use to. However, we can always rest assured that God not only has our best interest in mind, but He is daily perfecting those areas that concern us (Psalm 138:8), and He specializes in making unsteady steps firm (Psalm 119:133). He’s a Good Father, so make a conscious effort today to allow Him to lead you through your spirit man (pray in tongues). He has already established your next steps. Just trust Him.

Sometimes fear may seem like it’s greater than we are - like it will overtake us - but that’s when we have to remember the GREATER one that is in us. He lives inside of us, and He's greater than our enemy (1 John 4:4). The GREATER One has blessed us with the gift of power, love and a healthy, clear mind. ⁣ ⁣

Keep your mind stayed on Him today as you reflect on His love for you and take advantage of those blessings today. Determine to adopt His mindset as your own and don’t accept anything that wasn’t given to you by your Father (i.e. fear). Be confident in who you are IN Christ. With Him on your side, you can do all things, especially those that He has specifically called you to. Happy Friday!⁣ ⁣

👂What have your ears been tuned into lately? Have they been tuned into Heaven’s frequency? It’s important for us as ambassadors of Christ to be tuned into the “skillful and godly wisdom” that only God can provide. An ambassador aims to carry out the wishes of the leadership and country that he or she is representing. So, in the same regard, we should be eager to ensure that we have clear instruction and discernment on how to handle the affairs of our lives instead of yielding to our own intellect (Proverbs 3:5-6). ⁣

🙌 We serve a good God and Father, and He’s more than wiling to - happy to - give us HIS wisdom when we ask Him in faith. So, make sure you stay in tune and in communication with your homeland (the Kingdom of God) and its leader (your Heavenly Father), so that He can direct your path and ultimately your life.

When we ask and receive wisdom of God (James 1:5), we can rest assured that it will also be apparent in our character. It will lead us to seek peace and to show mercy. Wherever God leads us there will be no hypocrisy, partiality or inaccuracy - it’s pure, holy and just! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When we stir up the gift inside of us, we provide the proper environment for the Holy Spirit to guide us and lead every area of our lives supernaturally. We are privy to information that mere knowledge would not have been able to reveal to us. Trust God’s plan for your life and that He will supply and provide for you wherever He leads you. ⁣⁣

Just as Paul finally came to revelation that God desired to use his (Paul’s) weaknesses and hardships to demonstrate His power, we must also stay mindful of the fact that God has a greater purpose for our weaknesses as well. There are no weaknesses, past failures or any idiosyncrasy in the eyes of man that are a match for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18). Mankind just isn’t that powerful. So, if you’ve received instruction from God and have been led to move in a certain direction but haven’t yet, what are you waiting for?

Not only is His strength made perfect in our weakness, but He honors our obedience. He is pleased when we step out and trust Him even when circumstances seem to be beyond our control - when we don’t quite understand how things will work out (Hebrews 11:6). Most importantly, when God gets the glory, and it is evident that it is Him and not ourselves that have accomplished a feat, it puts the spotlight on God. Once we put matters into God’s hands, we can trust and believe He won’t fail you. He is faithful.
