DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 29th

Rejoice! You’ve got something to be grateful for. Not only does the Lord give us strength, but it’s His desire to put a new song in our mouths (Psalm 40:3). Stir up the gift inside of you (by praying in tongues) and receive God’s wisdom, direction and song of gladness.⁣

The Lord is a shield of protection around you both physically and spiritually. So, be sure to give Him thanks and praises for His grace and love for you today. You are anointed to accomplish everything that He has instructed you to do and you can do ALL things through Christ (Philippians 4:13).⁣⁣⁣⁣

DAILY DEVOTIONAL | January 28th

In the Bible, a person’s name often revealed both the character and/or affiliations an individual had. When God called Abram and made a covenant with Him revealing that He would be the Father of many nations, his name was changed from Abram to Abraham. He stepped into God’s plan and purpose for His life, but His name was changed prior to it even being brought into fruition.⁣

In the same sense, we can look at the many names of God (i.e. Jehovah Jireh - our provider, Jehovah Rapha - our Healer). His name(s) reveal His nature, power, and character (goodness, mercy, power, faithfulness, just for starters) to the world. ⁣Place your trust and confidence in His name. Remind yourself today of all that His name reveals about Who He is to you. He won’t fail you. ⁣

So regardless of what you’re going through, just imagine His arms holding you and strengthening you today. Let His joy be your strength; He is well able to carry you through every situation and circumstance. Rest in Him. (Isaiah 43:2, Nehemiah 8:10). ⁣

Our Heavenly Father is omniscient: He knows all. He already knows the end from the beginning and can give us the wisdom and direction that we need for every situation. In order to truly be “living” (active, full of life or vigor, functioning) epistles of our Father, our relationship with God cannot remain in a dormant state. We have to actively stir up the gift and rely on the Holy Spirit for day-to-day instructions and leading for the will of God to be in operation in and through our lives. Just like with any other meaningful relationship earthly relationship, God wants to be “present” AND “active” in our lives. So do your best daily to stay sensitive to His voice so that He can be.⁣⁣

God loves us, and it is His desire that we not only learn His Word (His will), but that we gain a true understanding of the heart behind it. His Word truly restores & refreshes our souls (Psalm 19:7). He is faithful to us, and when we familiarize ourselves with what is important to Him, we gain wisdom and peace of mind in the process. In addition, God has given us the Holy Spirit to give us godly wisdom as well.

🙏 So, let’s keep our hearts pliable so that we are able to gain a better understanding and become better representatives for the Kingdom of God EVERY DAY. We have the privilege of being His ambassadors. May we never take the breath in our lungs for granted. (🙌 Kingdom Citizen MondayVibes)

You have nothing to fear: greater is He that is WITHIN us then He that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Don’t let doubt have your heart or the enemy have your ears because we serve a God Who never fails and Who can’t lie (Numbers 23:19), so don’t you dare listen to the enemy’s [lies]. We have the victory IN Christ. ⁣⁣

God is not moved by outward appearances (I Samuel 16:7), He is moved by the condition of our hearts. When we earnestly seek God with all our hearts, He is moved to speak and reveal Himself to us. Take the time daily to pray in the spirit to stir up your spirit man. Seek God’s face in prayer and by meditating on His Word as desperately as a deer pants for water at a stream (Psalm 42:1). Only Jesus can quench our soul’s thirst.⁣⁣

🙌 When we are careful to honor and obey God’s Word and to follow His plan and purpose for our lives, we are the most fulfilled. Furthermore, when we trust His leading, we will always eventually find that we are not alone. We gain strength because our obedience brings happiness and joy - His joy IS our strength!

Continue to meditate on God’s Word daily. His Word helps us to get a better understanding of His heart and will. Remember: TRUE happiness can be found as you follow His path for your life, and the more you stay connected to Him [in prayer and through meditating on His Word], the clearer His direction will become. ⁣

🗣 Confession: “I know the voice of my Heavenly Father, and the voice of a stranger, I don’t recognize. God, I will trust the plans you have for my life!”

Our fear and reverence of God IS the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7). We cannot access true wisdom - Godly wisdom - without God. God is all powerful. There’s nothing too hard for Him, and no one who can stand against Him (Romans 8:31). So, before you consult your intellect on making an important decision today, instead, trust God for His wisdom, wait for His guidance and place your confidence in Him. #HeIsAble⁣⁣

We are His ambassadors and that means communicating His priorities and passions, with love and truth being at the core of them. ⁣

Do the words mercy, kindness, and truth come to mind when people think of you? How about committing anew in 2020? Ask for God's help in more accurately demonstrating the heart of God to others. Not only will it make God proud, but it will bring us favor both in His sight and in the sight of others. He’s there to help us, and as the fruits of the Spirit mature and develop in us, we will be more equipped as His ambassadors. He loves you, and you are the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8).⁣

It’s a NEW year, and you may have new plans that you’ve pondered about how things would work out, but please don’t ever forget that there is power in our praise. We serve a faithful God, and He holds all power in His hands.
