God desires to perfect those areas that concern us (Psalm 138:8); and as a result, our Heavenly Father gives instruction and sometimes even discipline to us because of His love for us. Like any good Father, it’s His desire for us to “grow more like Him” so that we can serve and better represent “the family”. ⁣

Never fret, get dismayed or annoyed at His instruction. One of the worse things in life is for one to go through life thinking they are wise or intelligent, but to viewed by others as foolish. Humility to receive direction is one of our greatest assets. On God’s part, His “instruction” is a sign of His love, and we should never grow weary of it. We should be honored to learn and receive it [HIs instruction]. Don’t forget: you are loved unconditionally

Never take for granted the fact that God’s plans and purpose for your life were preordained for your life before you were even formed in your mother’s womb.

Your gifts, talents and all of the days of your life were thought out and outlined. So, it only makes sense to consult with the One who thought you valuable enough, not only to give His all for you (John 3:16), but to map out your purpose. He will order your steps and lead you on that path if you put your confidence in Him, being careful to keep your spirit man built up so that you hear and obey His voice. Check in with the One with the ‘Master Plan’ for your life. He never tires of hearing from you…in fact, He’s waiting!⁣⁣

The apostle Paul came to a revelation that God desired to use his weaknesses and hardships to demonstrate His power. We also must stay mindful of the fact that God has a greater purpose for our weaknesses as well. There are no weaknesses, past failures or any idiosyncrasy in the eyes of man that are a match for the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18). ⁣

So, if you’ve received instruction from God and have been led to move in a certain direction but haven’t yet, don’t falter any longer! Not only is His strength made perfect in our weakness, but He honors our obedience. He is pleased when we step out and trust Him even when circumstances are beyond our control, and we don’t quite understand how things will work out (Hebrews 11:6). Put and KEEP your confidence in Him today. Be blessed!

Oftentimes, the path that we are on in life has already been “straightened” for us without us even being aware - that’s the kind of good Father we serve. ⁣⁣⁣⁣

He’ll cut down a mountain, smooth out rough ground or even send people on our behalf to get us through, and the world will have to sit back and take notice at the way He does it. He will always get the glory. We have access to the Holy Spirit, and He’s our Guide. He desires to order your steps and direct your life (Psalm 37:23), so let Him! ⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣So when you reflect on all that He’s blessed you with today, don’t forget about the things He’s removed from your path without you even being aware. You are loved and precious in His sight, and the location of both your steps and heart is important to Him. Trust in Him and rest (Proverbs 3:5-6)!⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

God loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die for our sin. He took the penalty that we had ‘justly’ placed on us because of the sin nature of mankind. So, if you’ve been abandoned, unworthy, lacking courage, fearful, let this be a reminder of the substitute that Jesus became just for you! He took our sentence, and we have been redeemed (Ephesians 1:7)!

Not only are you no longer bound by sin (Romans 4:16), but you are victorious and more than a conqueror. You’ve been set apart and marked as His child. You no longer are defined by your previous identity BC (before Christ). You are kings/priests and have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). You have been blessed with the opportunity to be Christ’s ambassadors, so rejoice! Let your actions and attitude reflect your awareness of His love for you. You are loved!⁣

Our words are indicative of the condition of our heart. Thoughts will become words and then words eventually translate into actions, so be careful about what you allow to be stored in your heart. Only you have the authority to determine whether the conversations you’re a part of, the music or shows you watch, the material you read glorifies God and mines good treasure or bad in your heart. ⁣

🙏🏽🗣” Create in me a clean heart God (Psalm 51:10) so that my words do not deceive or misrepresent You as your child. I desire for the treasure in my heart to honor you so that my thoughts are good, lovely and pure (Philippians 4:8), so give me wisdom and discernment on the things that I’m exposing myself to daily. Thank you Lord for your love and grace to send the Holy Spirit as my Helper, so that I may honor you in word and deed. Amen.”⁣

God is pleased when we wait and trust in Him expectantly (Hebrews 11:6). Whatever He has promised, wherever He has directed you to, continue (or start) to trust and obey that He will bring it to pass and that He knows best for your life. He is not a man: He can not lie (Numbers 23:19). He is faithful! The joy of the Lord is your strength, so walk boldly in obedience to whatever God has called you to. He will not leave you. 🙏 When we stay connected to God, following and remaining committed to Christ, we experience inner peace. Jesus could have been boastful and harsh because of all His mighty exploits, but He chose instead to walk in humility and to deal gently with our hearts. ⁣

As believers or followers of Christ, we should not only be concerned about sharing the Gospel, but we should have a desire to emulate His character and to honor Him in all we do. God will renew and refresh our souls, if we’ll allow Him to transform us from the inside out and provide us with the peace that only He can provide. Rest IN Him. ⁣⁣

He is your protection from hurt or danger (seen or unseen). There is power in the name of Jesus, and His name is precious.

God’s love for us is like a shield, and the more we aim to live uprightly and allow Him to lead our lives, that shield is one that continuously surrounds and protects us from every fiery dart or attack of the enemy. Your countenance is important to God because He cares about what’s going on inside and outside of you (Psalm 24:9). As God’s children, we don’t have to rely on our own intellect and knowledge to exercise good judgement. We have only have to ask our Heavenly Father for wisdom, and He’ll give it to us (James 1:5). It’s that simple! Godly wisdom provides revelation on how to apply earthly knowledge. It helps us to perceive what what we may not have otherwise understood based on our limited knowledge of situations.⁣

We have a Good Father! We don’t have to continuously bump our heads because of bad decision-making. God has given us what we need to do the exact opposite. The Holy Spirit is our Helper (John 14:26), and He desires to give insight to us on even the seemingly insignificant affairs of our life. This is so that our decision making can be wise and pleasing to our Heavenly Father. So remember today to: Pray…Pause…Wait for Direction, Then Act. ⁣
