🙌 Our Heavenly Father desires to be near us at all times. He wants to be “in our midst” and to work in and through us daily (John 14:12, Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 2:13). We only have to call His name and come to Him with a pure and humble heart. Regardless of where the paths of your feet tread today, commit your life to God and yield to Him for wisdom in your decision-making. When you do, you set the scene for Him to act on your behalf (Psalm 37:5, Proverbs 3:5-6). Trust in Him. He is ALL that you need. Have a blessed weekend.⁣⁣⁣⁣

When we place and keep God at the throne of our hearts, we position ourselves for Him to move on our behalf, to direct the affairs of our lives, to give us wisdom, strength, favor and His peace. We honor Him and give Him glory by acknowledging Him in all of our ways every day of our lives. So, don’t let today be any different. Love Him and give Him the honor He is due. So, if you’re struggling with anger, impure thoughts, doubt or even trusting God and building your faith, take a look at what you’ve allowed your mind to focus on. Even strengthening our relationship with God - just like any other relationship - demands devoting time to it and studying His Word. Think on those things that honor God and ask for His help to stay focus on those things. He is not only willing, but He desires to help you (Psalm 46:1). ⁣⁣

These are definitely the last days, and the more time we spend at our Heavenly Father’s feet and meditate on His Word, we deepen our relationship with Him, conform to His way and follow His instructions. He sent His Son Jesus so that we could be reconciled with Him, delivered and set free from any sickness, disease, bondage or baggage. He’s made us MORE than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). He is our protection and covering, so we have nothing to fear (Psalm 91:4). ⁣

If you need wisdom and direction, you have access to the Holy Spirit - your Helper - and you only have to ask Him (James 1:5). In and through the mighty power of God, you will find the strength you need to fulfill every task before you today (Ephesians 6:10, Philippians 4:13)! Our relationship with Christ after salvation should not be a stagnant one. Continue to grow, learn and study the things of God, so that you develop spiritually everyday. Pray in tongues regularly so that the Holy Spirit - your Teacher - can instruct you and give wisdom and guidance where needed. What a merciful Father we serve! He wasn’t just interested in “saving” us, but after He did, He cared enough for us to perfect those things that concern us and use us for His will (Psalm 138:8)!⁣ He will guide your footsteps and provide insight where you need it.⁣

Obtaining Godly wisdom should be the most consequential thing —the most order of business for the believer. Knowing the will of our Heavenly Father equates to knowing and meditating on His Word. Our appetite to get understanding = our desire to please Him in all of our affairs (Joshua 1:8). When we seek the wisdom of God, we have an advantage because He will give us insight on how to speak and deal with those around us, how to represent Him properly, how to steward what He’s already blessed us with. Get understanding today: pray in tongues and meditate on God’s Word. Wisdom is yours for the asking (James 1:5).

Do you ever feel like the Lord is far away? Psalm 145:18 reassures us that He certainly is not, no matter what may tell us otherwise. At times in our lives, we may fail to call upon Him or ask for help due to pride, fear, or confusion, but our only response to a scripture like this should be gladness! We should be GLAD that He has promised to be near to us, be GLAD that He will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). When we go to Him on the basis of His Word, there is nothing that He won’t do for us. Call upon Him today - in every area where you desire for Him to be near and watch Him move!
