📖 "As it is written: I have made you the father of many nations—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, the one who gives life to the dead and calls things into existence that do not exist.” -Romans 4:17 Christian Standard Bible

God can do many things. He gives life to the dead, and He speaks into existence the things that do not exist. We are made in His likeness and His image, and God expects us to operate the way He operates. We are to be imitators of God as dear children. We are to call into existence the things that we desire into existence in our lives. We are to speak prosperity into existence. We are to speak healing into existence. We are to speak peace into existence into our lives. Those things belong to us because Jesus paid the price for us to have those things. Our words cause those things to manifest into our lives. Our words cause the spiritual blessings that we have been blessed with to materialize and become a reality in our lives. Our words go into the future before we do. If there is something in your life that needs to change, your words will change them. Your words can create or your words can destroy. The choice is yours.

📖 "For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning. Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].” -Hebrews 4:15-16 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

When Jesus came to the earth, He emptied Himself of everything that made Him God. He experienced what it was like to be mortal. He experienced hunger and fatigue. He was betrayed, and He was tempted. He experienced the same things that we experience. His experience on earth enabled him to be a faithful high priest for us. A high priest that can sympathize and understand what we are going through right now. We are assured that we can come boldly before the throne of grace and obtain help in the time of trouble. We are not alone in this world. Jesus is our advocate and our intercessor, and He is praying for us at the right hand of the Father. We have the assurance that whenever we find ourselves in a tight spot or a tough-looking situation, we can go to God knowing that we can receive well-timed help to get us out of every negative situation we face. We are never alone. We are never without help.

📖 "And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils” -Mark 3:14-15 King James Version

Jesus was going about teaching, preaching, and healing. He was doing a great job at it, but He was only one man. He needed help, and so He ordained twelve men to assist him in teaching, preaching, healing and casting out devils. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave the Great Commission and told us to cast out devils in His Name, lay hands on the sick in His Name, and to preach the Gospel to every creature. The assignment never changed, even after Jesus ascended into heaven; but we are to continue the mandate. Are you telling people about Jesus? Are you laying hands on the sick? Are you casting out devils? Jesus is the head of the Church, but we are His Body. He expects us to continue His work in the earth. We must all do our part. Are you doing yours?

📖 "So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” -Acts 19:20 King James Version

The Word of God is the answer to every problem that we face in life. There are times in our lives when we need to increase our Word intake. There are times when we must “immerse” ourselves in the Word of God. As we increase the amount of Word in our lives, we can expect the Word to prevail in our lives. If you are experiencing an attack in your body, increase the Word concerning healing. If lack is trying to invade your finances, increase the Word concerning prosperity. Whatever the enemy is trying to attack: your joy, your peace, your health, find out what the Word of God has to say, and then counter-attack what the enemy is trying to do. The Word will always prevail when it is planted in our hearts. We must guard it until it produces victory in our lives.

📖 "Teach me, and I will hold my tongue; Cause me to understand wherein I have erred. How forceful are right words! But what does your arguing prove?” -Job 6:24-25 New King James Version

There is a time to speak and a time to stay silent (Ecclesiastes 3:7). Our words are significant, and they have power. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we must recognize when to speak and when to hold our tongue. When the enemy attacks our lives, it is important what we say because our words are potent. Our words can move mountains, and our words can also reinforce what is already in place. That is one reason we must call those things that be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). God has chosen the things which are not, to bring to naught (nothing) the things that are (I Corinthians 1:28). We must get a revelation of the importance of our words and the timing of when to speak those forcible words. Those components could be the key to breakthroughs and turnarounds in our lives.

📖 "The place you began will seem unimportant because your future will be so successful." -Job 8:7 International Children’s Bible

We must never despise where we start. We must embrace the process. One man said, “The path to the prize is greater than the prize itself”. The path causes us to grow, develop, and to become more. It causes us to develop the talent and the potential that God placed on the inside of us. As we are faithful where God places us, then He will promote us and over time, we will find ourselves in a position that is far beyond where we began. God will prosper us as we stay faithful on the path that He has set before us.

📖 "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away." -Revelation 21:4 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

As believers we know that there is a better place than this present earth. Heaven is our destination if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The text tells us that we can look forward to a time when there will be no more grief, pain, anger, or sorrow. There will be no more sickness in heaven. There will be no signs of the curse because there is no curse in Heaven. Sickness, disease, lack, poverty, and death are all results of sin, and sin is what caused the curse to enter the earth. Heaven is a wonderful place and a place we should all look forward to as believers. There isn’t anything on this earth worth missing Heaven over. If Heaven is full of good things, we can only imagine the alternative. We can only imagine the suffering and torment that is taking place in hell. It should be enough to make sure that you are in right standing with God. Let’s examine ourselves today and make sure that there is nothing in our lives that will cause us to miss Heaven. There is nothing on this earth that is worth it.

📖 "This is the history of the generations of Noah. Noah was a just and righteous man, blameless in his [evil] generation; Noah walked [in habitual fellowship] with God. The earth was depraved and putrid in God’s sight, and the land was filled with violence (desecration, infringement, outrage, assault, and lust for power). And the Lord said to Noah, Come with all your household into the ark, for I have seen you to be righteous (upright and in right standing) before Me in this generation.” -Genesis 6: 9&11;7:1 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

The earth was in bad shape. The world was so bad that God decided that He would destroy all of creation, including man. Fortunately, He was able to find one man who walked righteously before Him. That man was Noah. Noah walked in habitual fellowship with God, and it saved his life and the lives of his family. Our relationship with God will do the same. Regardless of how bad the world gets, we can still be set apart. We can still live a life that is holy, sanctified, and righteous. When we do, God will always show up in our lives. He instructs us to come out from among them and be separate (II Corinthians 6:17-18). There is to be a difference between us and the world. There is to be a separation. Jesus is difference that our world so desperately needs. We are His ambassadors on earth, so let’s represent Him properly.

📖 "O Lord God of hosts, who is a mighty one like unto You, O Lord? And Your faithfulness is round about You [an essential part of You at all times]." -Psalm 89:8 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

Faithfulness is a part of God’s character. Faithfulness is who God is. He is faithful to His promises, and He is faithful to us because that is a part of His character. We never have to question the integrity of God’s Word. We never have to wonder whether He will fulfill His promises. Jeremiah 1:12 tells us that God is alert and active and watching over His Word to perform it. Even His angels hearken to the voice of His Word (Psalm 103:21). God is a covenant-keeping God, and the Word tells us that He keeps covenant to a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9). You don’t ever have to worry about God keeping His Word. We must examine ourselves and make sure that we are in faith and standing on God’s Word. When we do our part, God will always do His.

📖 "For a wide door of opportunity for effectual [service] has opened to me [there, a great and promising one], and [there are] many adversaries." -I Corinthians 16:9 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

God is endeavoring to make our lives better. He already has a plan for our lives: pans that are good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11). As we are faithful where we are, God will open doors for us: doors that will enable us to advance in our respective companies, doors that will increase our income, doors that will improve our quality of life.

The enemy may try to hinder and stop what God is doing, but he will not be successful if we stand against him and exercise our authority. The devil is not stronger than God, and he cannot hinder what God is doing in our lives unless we allow him to. Don’t allow the devil to rob you of God’s blessings. He is a defeated foe, and God expects us to demonstrate Satan’s defeat. As we resist the devil, he has no choice but to flee. Stand on God’s Word, resist the devil, and watch your life continue to go from glory to glory.

📖 "They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny and disown and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable and loathsome, unbelieving and disobedient and disloyal and rebellious, and [they are] unfit and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind." -Titus 1:16 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

As believers, we have an obligation to represent God here on the earth. We cannot misrepresent Him through our actions. In his letter, Paul informed Titus of a group of people who claimed to know God, but their lifestyle contradicted that. Their actions showed that they really did not have a relationship with God. I John 5:18 tells us that “anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin.” We are born of God, and His life is on the inside of us. Since His life and nature is on the inside of us, we ought to live a sanctified and holy life. There are no perfect people, and we all should strive for perfection. God looks at the heart. If we have a heart for God and desire to serve Him, our lifestyle and behavior will get in line with what is on the inside of us. We will begin to live holy, even as He is holy.

📖 "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth." -Psalm 34:1 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

No matter what happens in life, praise should always be coming out of our mouths. We bless the Lord because He is good. We bless Him because every good thing in our lives came from Him. He is the Source of everything good in our lives. When things aren’t going well in our lives, praise will change it.

Praise will change the atmosphere. Praise will still the avenger (Satan). We always bless the Lord because even when things aren’t going as well, it is praise that will turn the tide. Praise will bring God on the scene because the Lord inhabits the praises of His people. Let's always bless the Lord. Let's please Him through our praise because praise is the highest form of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6).

📖 "In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].” -Ephesians 6:10 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

Our strength comes from God. He is our ability. We are one with the Spirit of God. We have access to the life of God. Jesus said that He is the vine, and we are the branches. We are to get our life from Him because of our connection to Him. We have access to His wisdom, His might, His strength, His nature; and, we have access to everything that He is.

When you feel like you can’t go on, depend on His might. When you feel weak, depend on His strength. God will make up the difference and get you through when you feel like you can’t take another step. God’s ability is sufficient, and we are connected to that ability. Step outside of yourself, the answer is on the inside. Greater is He that is in you, than He that is in the world.

📖 "While ants are hardly a strong species, they work constantly to store up food during the summer” -Proverbs 30:25 Voice

A key to living a successful life is consistency. It's not just what you do occasionally. It's what you are willing to do on an everyday basis. If you want to lose weight, you must exercise consistently. You want to get closer to God, you must be consistent in your prayer life and in studying the Word of God. Daniel was consistent. Even after the king gave his decree, Daniel opened his window and prayed like he always did. Jesus went to the synagogue often because it was his custom. The ant will not starve in the winter because they are constantly storing up food because they understand that winter is coming. If we want to continue to experience greater levels of success, we must remain consistent in every area of our lives. You cannot go to another level without consistently changing. God never intended for you to stay the same.

📖 "The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit who can raise up or bear?” -Proverbs 18:14 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

We should always endeavor to keep our spirits strong. When the enemy comes against us, it is our spirit that sustains us during the attack. We strengthen our spirits by reading and meditating the Word of God and by praying in the spirit. When we pray in the spirit (or in other tongues) we are building ourselves up on our most holy faith. We are charging ourselves up similar to the way you charge a battery.

The Apostle Paul stayed charged up. If you look at all the things that he endured, you will see why he prayed in tongues more than anyone in the church of Corinth (I Corinthians 14:18). He was stoned, whipped, imprisoned, beaten with rods, shipwrecked, just to name a few things, yet despite all those things, he finished his course. The enemy may come against us, but that doesn’t mean that he can win. As we keep our spirits strong, we can overcome anything he may try to bring our way. Our spirits will sustain us.

📖 "Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world." -I Peter 5:8-9 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

We only have one enemy. It isn’t a co-worker. It isn’t a family member. It isn’t someone in government. Our enemy is the devil, Satan. He is our adversary, and he walks around as a roaring lion, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy. We are instructed to resist him. We must be determined that he is not going to steal, kill, or destroy anything in our lives. We have been given authority over the wicked one, and when we resist him, he has no choice but to flee. No matter what the devil is attempting to do in your life, he cannot succeed if you stand against him with the Word of God. We not only have the Word of God, but we also have the name of Jesus and the Spirit of God on the inside of us. The Word of God tells us that greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (I John 4:4). We have the power and the ability to withstand and overcome any attack of the devil. Don’t allow him to convince you otherwise. He is not only a liar, but he is also defeated.

📖 "The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].” -Psalm 37:23 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

God has a plan for our lives. He not only has the plan, but He orders our steps for us to arrive at the place where He has preordained for us to be. God knows how to arrange events. When Samuel was to anoint Saul to be king over Israel, God told Samuel the day before that He was sending a man out of the land of Benjamin to be anointed king. Saul was looking for his father’s donkeys and that is why he was in the same area as Samuel, but Saul did not know that his steps were ordered by the Lord.

God sent him that way so that he could be anointed king over Israel. God has a way of making things happen in our lives when we allow Him to. We can believe that when we surrender our lives to God, He will order our steps and put us in the right place at the right time, so that we can experience the good life that He has preordained for us to live.

📖 "Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?” -2 Corinthians 13:5 Amplified Bible

Sometimes when we examine ourselves, we must make adjustments because we may not like where we are. We may have to remove friends. We may have to stop watching television or spend less time on our smartphones. We must adjust so that we don’t remain in a state of spiritual decline. We must examine ourselves, and if necessary, ask God to reveal to us areas where we may need to improve. Sometimes, we must remove distractions. We must examine our belief system. Do we believe the way we once did, or has our perspective changed to the point that we are thinking like the world. We must remove anything from our lives that may cause us to miss Heaven. We want our lives to go from faith to faith, from glory to glory. Our desire should be to have a deeper walk with God. As we continue to evaluate ourselves, we can open the door for that to happen and to walk in the benefits of diligently seeking Him. Our desire should be to know Christ and the power of His resurrection.

📖 "Then the [Holy] Spirit said to Philip, Go forward and join yourself to this chariot. Accordingly Philip, running up to him, heard [the man] reading the prophet Isaiah and asked, Do you really understand what you are reading?" -Acts 8:29-30 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

When God speaks to us, He expects us to move. Sometimes, depending on the instruction, we hesitate or question whether we should obey the instruction. We are all developing when it comes to hearing the voice of God and being led by the Spirit, but when we know that it’s God leading us, we must act. Sometimes it is for our own good, and sometimes it is in the best interest of someone else. When we know its God, we must run, like Philip did. We must always immediately obey when God is leading and guiding us. It never costs to obey God, but it always pays to. When you do, you are always glad that you did.

📖 "Those who obey the Lord are daily in his care, and what he has given them will be theirs forever. They won't be in trouble when times are bad, and they will have plenty when food is scarce." -Psalm 37:18-19 Contemporary English Version

God is our Source. It is His desire that He takes care of us. He takes pleasure in prospering us (Psalm 35:27). Every good gift and every perfect gift come from above (James 1:17). When we realize that God desires to take care of us and to bless us, it will take your mind off the negative circumstances.

God told the Israelites that they were to never to forget that it was the Lord their God who gave them the ability to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). God is the one that had a promised land for His people. The promised land wasn’t their idea, it was God’s. God can bless us when the economy is good or bad and whether the stock market is doing well or not. He can feed us when there is scarcity in the land and when there is plenty. God knows where everything is. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.
