John 14:21 NKJV
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”
Since we love Jesus, we are loved by Jesus and the Father. God loves the whole world but He cannot love on everyone like He can those who have responded to His love. So Jesus was saying here in John 14 that those who love and obey Him will experience the love of God as the Lord manifests Himself to them. I have chosen to love and obey God. Therefore, I have experienced His love and expect Him to continually manifest Himself to me in ways that confirm that love. I wonder how many people are not aware of God showing His love to them because they don’t expect it and so they miss it when it occurs.
