Acts 9:34 NKJV
And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.
Peter was visiting believers in Jesus in a place called Lydda when he encountered a paralyzed man. Obviously led by the Holy Spirit, Peter made an announcement to Aeneas and spoke a command. He said, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Aeneas got up and many people in the surrounding area received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord as a result. Why did they receive Jesus when they saw Aeneas made whole? They found out that it was the works of Jesus through Peter that caused this great miracle. Oh how we should stick with Jesus! He is the source of our healing and health. He is the One who heals us. I remind myself of that today and say, “Marilyn, Jesus the Christ heals you!”
