O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me.
The psalmist here is remembering what God did for him and he gives praise. Among the things he praises God for is healing. We should thank God in advance as we anticipate receiving healing He has already provided for us. Then when He brings that healing to pass us we should give Him thanks immediately. However, we should not stop after that. We should be forever grateful and continue to express our gratitude and exalt Him for His mighty works in us. As we continue to praise Him for what He has done, it encourages our faith for what we may need Him to do in the future. Amen
