Psalm 72:10 NKJV
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will bring presents. The kings of Sheba and Seba will offer gifts.
It is customary for people visiting royalty or heads of state to bring gifts. (An example is found in 1 Kings 10:1-2.) As royalty, the more we become enlightened to who we are and walk in our roles the more we will find ourselves receiving gifts. The frequency of our receiving gifts could be related to our level of faithfulness. Proverbs 28:20 tells us that a faithful man will receive blessings in abundance. Faithfulness is not established by a single act. Faithfulness is determined over time and through tests and trials. So if we want the faithful man’s level of blessings, we must endure hardship, pass through tests and trials and never give up on God in the process. We must be consistent in walking in obedience and always put God first. Let us envision ourselves as royalty, receiving gifts as God bestows spiritual gifts on us and moves on others to bless us with natural things.
