Proverbs 3:17 NKJV
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
Proverbs 3:17 is talking about wisdom. One of the ways we can tell if our choices are wise ones is to check on how we feel in our spirits. Do we feel uneasy? Do we have to override the caution or stop sign to do what we are about to do because of emotional or other kinds of pressure? If we cannot sense a green light - a peace about the decision we are making, it is probably unwise to proceed.
