Isaiah 9:6 NKJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
This prophecy about Jesus explains why there is so little peace all over the world. Too many have yet to accept Him as their Messiah and Lord. It also explains why so many are enjoying peace that cannot be explained. They have accepted Jesus Christ as their Messiah and Lord. It is necessary for salvation that we accept Him as our Messiah or Savior, but in order to enjoy the peace He came to bring we must accept His role as Lord. There is no peace like the peace the Prince of Peace gives. Let us surrender to His lordship today and live in the peace only He can give.
