1 Peter 3:10-11 NKJV
For he would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.
Whether it is peace in our own lives or peace with others, peace is something we should not be satisfied to live without. If we find ourselves missing our peace, we must go after it and not stop until we get it back. If there is turmoil between us and others, we must pursue restoring peace between us and them. Sometimes there is a limit to how far we can go to make peace with others. However, Romans 12:18 tells us to do our part to live peaceably with all people. Peter said it is good for our quality of life. So let's go for it.
