Luke 24:36; John 20:19; 21; 26 NKJV

Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, "Peace to you."

Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you."

So Jesus said to them again "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."

After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!"

After Jesus arose from the dead, He appeared to His disciples and His first word to them, according to Luke's account was "Peace." John records 3 different times where Jesus spoke peace to them after He arose from the dead, before He ascended to Heaven. God wants us to have peace, to live in peace, and to be peacemakers. Hopefully as we have been meditating on the peace of God, we are understanding how important it is to God that we be people of peace. Let us major on peace the way our Lord did.
