Isaiah 41:17-18 NKJV

"The poor and needy seek water, but there is none. Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers in desolate heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

God talked about caring for the poor and needy and providing water for them miraculously. If we encounter other people who are in need of the Word and the Spirit and the land around them feels very dry, let us realize that the circumstances do not impress God. He knows how to provide in the midst of seemingly impossible situations. So if we are chosen as vessels to minister to people under such conditions, we must do so with confidence. As we do our part, we can know that the Lord will do His part. If we find ourselves in desperate need of the Word and the Spirit, the Lord will meet our needs if we seek Him.
