The Quarantine Part 2

Continuation of the dream:

We went into a building where everyone was gathering. One of the first things I thought about was “supplies.” What did we have to help us since we had no idea how long we would be confined to the location? I got an idea what it felt like to be suddenly confined to a location, not knowing how long it would be before we could go home or have freedom of movement. There were refreshments like hors d’oeuvres brought in. I did not like the offerings but decided I would have to take what I could get while waiting to be allowed to leave.

The meaning of this part of the dream is as follows::

I had no idea that the real life situation would be so much like this dream. When we were told to shelter in place, we were not given a definite time that things would return to normal. At first, we were given a date when leaders would discuss what to do next. Many states are still in limbo with very little movement. Some people are dependent on food ministries so they cannot be that pickiy about what they are going to eat. THE INDEFINITE PERIOD of time in the dream that we would be held up represents THE ATTITUDE GOD WANTS ME TO HAVE. He wants me to know I will be in this detour until He says otherwise. It’s not my decision. Again, it is a response to my heart’s cry for a deeper walk with Him. Others were there in the dream because I am not the only one God is calling. The understanding that I had to eat what was available is symbolic of “NOT MY WILL, BUT YOURS BE DONE.”

May we continue to yield to the Potter as He works with His clay, Peace and love to you all.

The Quarantine

It’s been a long time since I posted and so much has taken place. It’s time for me to return to communicating here once again. Today, I will begin to share a dream I had February 10, 2020 - long before the USA began to shut down. I will share the interpretation I downloaded as well as the clarification that began to come as things began to change in the natural. (The italicized portion will be exactly what I recorded the day after the dream. Capitalization will be used for emphasis to highlight key words.) As you will see, when I recorded the dream the following morning (2/11/20), the word “quarantine” was used. So I will start to share it today and continue in parts until I have shared the whole dream which I know was prophetic.

THE DREAM (PART 1): I was in a vehicle with someone and we ran into a traffic jam on a hill. We were about to take the descent when everything came to a complete stop. After concluding that something happened to make it impossible to continue, we assumed we would be turned around to go back the way we came. However, we soon learned that we would be directed to park nearby because no one was being allowed to leave the area. We were being QUARANTINED.

THE INTERPRETATION: (For this part of the dream, I only saw the spiritual meaning as I was seeking God for a deeper relationship with Him. I did not know at the time that a literal event was coming where there would be a mass quarantine taking place. In the state where I live everyone is living under a type of quarantine and some are experiencing a full quarantine due their condition.) Here is the interpretation I recorded February 11.

The journey in the dream represents my life’s journey. The descent is where I was going next. The traffic jam due to a situation that led to us having to turn around is my thinking I could just go back the way I came. The quarantine is God’s calling to come apart – be separated.

As I review this portion today, I see how many are discussing life in our country not returning to normal. I am looking at how based on my dream, I said that I could not go back the way I came. God was quarantining me - separating me to be changed and never go back to being the way I was. I pray that during this literal time away from “business as usual” we will experience God’s plan for this time for us to be changed forever as we go to a higher spiritual level. May we take advantage of this time to wait on God and hear from Heaven that the Lord may have His way in our lives.

Walking with God

Walking with God

Genesis 5:24a NKJV

And Enoch walked with God….

How can someone walk with God? Amos 3:3 NKJV says, “Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” In order to walk with God we must be in agreement with Him. When we are in agreement with Him, we are not making decisions based on our flesh or our minds, We are making decisions from our spirit and in line with the Holy Spirit and the Word. This produces life and peace.

Romans 8:6 says, “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.“ How do we practice being spiritually-minded? The more we pray with the spirit, spend time in the Word (reading, meditating, listening, etc.), worshiping, etc., the more we will be spiritually-minded. Just like watching television affects the thinking and behavior of many people, spending time tuned into Heaven’s channel with affect our behavior. I pray that we will increase more and more this year in our efforts to walk with God.

Winning in 2020

1 Samuel 30:6 NKJV

Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

1 Samuel 30 tells the story of David and his men who were away from home and returned to find their city destroyed and their families gone - taken captive by the enemy. David’s men talked about stoning him. What was David’s response? First, he encouraged or strengthened himself in the Lord. Then he sought the Lord’s direction. God directed David to pursue his enemies and recover everything. God gave him a great victory.

We are soldiers in the army of God. As we march into 2020, any time that the enemy comes against us and brings discouraging situations or depressing circumstances, we are to remember that we are soldiers and God has promised us victory - not defeat. So therefore we can use these 2 principles and overcome every possibly discouraging circumstance we may face. First of all, we must not allow discouragement or depression to take over us. We must encourage and strengthen ourselves in the Lord. Secondly, inquire of the Lord. Seek God’s direction. He is the One who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus. When we seek Him, we will get that direction and experience what He has planned for us - VICTORY! VICTORY! VICTORY! May 2020 be your best year yet!

Peace

The Test

Judges 6:27 NKJV

So Gideon took ten men from among his servants and did as the Lord had said to him. But because he feared his father’s household and the men of the city too much to do it by day, he did it by night.

Gideon received orders from God to destroy the altar and idol image that belonged to his father. He was afraid of his family and the people in the city who worshiped the idol, but he was more afraid of being disobedient to God. He did what God asked at night so no one would see him doing it. Nevertheless, he did it. Then God stepped in when the men of the city wanted to kill him. He moved on the heart of Gideon’s father to defend him. Gideon’s father challenged his son’s accusers to allow the false god Baal to fight for himself if he was a real god.

Did you know that Jesus expects us to be obedient and honor Him even if we are risking our lives to do it? In Matthew 16:24-25 Jesus told His disciples that self-denial was required of His followers. in Matthew 24:9-14 Jesus warned His disciples that in the last days persecution against His followers could result in their death. He said that those who did not quit would be saved. Do you realize that the true followers of Christ are going to be tested in places like the USA where we once enjoyed religious freedom? Are you ready? The time to prepare spiritually is not when we are in the middle of the battle. It is before it starts. The preview has started. Real Christians are being persecuted now but it is only a preview. It’s time to make sure we are wearing the whole armor of God and drawing closer to Him each day.

Really?!

Really?!

1 Samuel 15:13-14 NKJV

Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord.”

But Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?”

There are times when we are uncertain about the direction the Lord is taking us and we do our best to follow what is in our hearts. However, there are times we are certain. We know exactly what God has instructed us to do - either from the Word or from our spirits. When God gave specific instructions to Saul to pass judgment on Amalek for their evil against Israel, Saul did almost everything. Then he told Samuel he did what the Lord commanded. Samuel’s response was (in my own words) - “Really?! Then why do I hear evidence to the contrary. I should not be hearing the sounds I hear if you had done as you were told.” Saul lost the legacy that would have been passed on to his children because he wanted to do things his own way. He disrespected God who made him king. When we are certain of God’s instructions, we must remember that He is God and we are not. Every instruction God gives us has a purpose. So let’s respect Him and follow everything He says . Then when we go to praise and worship Him, He won’t say, “Really?!”
