After the 5K we moved inside the gym at the Victory Youth Building to enjoy an Old School verses New School volleyball match! The Old School team consisted of VCCS alumni as well as other members from the church who wanted to play! The New School team consisted of the current members of the 2022-2023 VCCS varsity volleyball team!
It was a competitive match with a fun dynamic consisting of mothers versus daughters and sister versus sister! The game was fun to watch while eating a delicious lunch served by the hot concessions team! VCCS athletics fans know that there’s always great food served at the concessions such as chicken sandwiches, wings, French fries, and more along with the yummy snacks, candy and drinks served in cold concessions. VCCS never disappoints its fans at our home games!
In the end the New School team won the match, beating the Old School team in 3 out of 5 matches! We are so proud of our varsity volleyball team for showing up and showing out for our school!
There were less people at this year’s event compared to the previous year, but there was still a great atmosphere of support and encouragement! We are so grateful for our Victory family who never fails to support all that we do here at More Than Conquerors Ministries!
We want to say a special THANK YOU to everyone who made this year’s event one to remember and for all who supported the VCCS Tower Gardens initiative! We appreciate your support and generosity toward our school, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s event!
