On Saturday, April 27th, the America for Citizens Voting organization hosted the Carolina New Leadership Summit in downtown Greensboro, NC. This event was organized to help raise awareness of election integrity, encourage conservative values, and address issues our nation is currently facing.

The summit featured new political candidates in Congress and State Representatives, as well as NC Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson who is currently running for Governor of NC. There were also more established leaders such as Clarence Henderson the national spokesman from the Fredrick Douglas Foundation and pro-life advocate Catherine Davis who was a forerunner in her support of the overturning of Roe v. Wade!

Several students from Victory Christian Center School were recognized for their interest in learning more about these matters. VCCS principal Cheryl Riley, shared on the education panel addressing key issues on education and solutions that School Choice provides. She also received the Leadership Award and was recognized as a new leader in education. Contributions from the late Pastor Robyn Gool were also noted and praised by panelists.

VCC member, Dyazia Pride, the North Carolina State Director for BLEXIT, also sat on a panel as a new and rising political leader. She shared about the skill of campaigning and the power of connecting with people on a personal level to overcome the distractions of modern social media.

We give God all the glory for this opportunity to be the light of the world, the salt of the earth, a city set on a hill that cannot be hid, and for more opportunities to come!
