"Moving Into Your Harvest"

Remember there are 3 areas of harvest: from the seed of Jesus, yours and the seed of others. I want to encourage you to give attention to the Word. Jesus said take heed what you hear; with the measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. - Mark 4:24. In Luke 8:18, He tells us to be careful “how we hear”. (Please read the entire verse.).

There are three vitally important things that help us in receiving our harvest!

1) The measure we give to the Word (Remember Proverbs 4:20-22)

2) Seeing it and confessing it.
God always sees and calls the end from the beginning. From God’s perspective, your harvest is already yours.

3) Praising the Lord of the Harvest
God gives seed and multiplies the seed sown. Let me remind you to decree daily that you are a harvester of souls and of the bountiful crops the Kingdom produces from the seed of Jesus, your own and others. (Read Luke 10:2).

Special Q&A Response: What is the Difference Between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God?

On Sunday, September 4th, Pastor Gool held a special Q&A segment after Adult Sunday Night Bible Class. One of the questions asked was "What is the difference between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God.  In addition to the explanation he already provided that evening, he also provided this additional insight on the topic during Adult Sunday Night Bible Class this past Sunday (September 11th). Be blessed!

Kingdom – basileia = a realm or a region governed by a king

KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

  1. Found 33 times in the New Testament. (All in Matthew)
  2. First announced by John the Baptist, then by Christ and the Apostles (Matthew 4:17, 10:7) as being at hand.
  3. It’s the Kingdom that God gives to His Son and all the glorified saints He’s prepared it for the righteous before the foundation of the World. (Matthew 25:34)
  4. Kingdom of Heaven – Kingdom from the heavensIt’s a dispensational term and refers to the Messiah’s Kingdom on earth.
  5. In the millennium the Kingdom of Heaven becomes the literal Kingdom of the Son of Man.
  6. It will be established as a separate kingdom from Heaven for the purpose of re-establishing the Kingdom of God on earth forever.
  7. Jesus called it My Kingdom.
    • John 18:36
    • Luke 22:30
  8. It's a lesser term than the Kingdom of God.

KINGDOM OF GOD

  1. It’s the sovereignty of God over the universe and includes the kingdom of heaven and all other realms in the whole universe.
  2. It existed before the creation of the earth and it is moral and universal.  It has existed from the beginning and knows no end. Job 38:4-7
  3. The Kingdom of Heaven is the earthly sphere of the Kingdom of God and in this respect the terms have almost all things in common.

(BONUS MESSAGE) "The Power of Visualization: Renewing the Mind"

As mentioned previously, to see as God sees and embrace the heart and purpose of God for our lives, we need a renewed mind. Until this process is complete or at least initiated, it will be difficult to have the ability to visualize as God desires of us.

Renewal of the mind allows Proverbs 27:3 to finally become a reality for the positive. "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

Have you had your Word Feeding yet? Put pressure on your mind to undergo metamorphosis through the constant, consistent feeding of the Word. Matthews 4:4 "Men shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."

Be determined to let the Word of God dominate your brain in every situation. Remember Proverbs 4:20-23.

Jesus said "out of the abundance of the heart, a man speaks". Let's change the temper of our mind by making - even forcing ourselves to have Word and confession breaks.  Let's be determined to bring our brain to the point of fully accepting what God says when circumstances speak differently.

Peter slept in prison the night before his scheduled execution because his brain didn't challenge him in regards to the words Jesus had spoken to him. (Read John 21:18 and Acts 12).

We're not in this alone. We are to boldly say "He is our Helper". Push the scriptures on healing and abundance down your throat. Push the scriptures on the anointing and works of Jesus down your throat! Get tough on yourself, and you'll be able to be tough on the devil. Let's not go to sleep tonight without our "Word cap" (ref: night cap).

"Creating A Winning Day" (continued)

ADDITIONAL NUGGETS TO MEDITATE ON...

In continuing our lesson from yesterday (August 10th), there are 4 additional keys I would like to share with you to help you in creating a successful, winning day.

  1. Keep a kingdom focus.  Col 3:1 “If you then be risen with Christ seek those things which are above…set your affection on things above,  not on things on the earth.”  The Living Bible reads in Col 3:2-3 “Let heaven fill your thoughts; don’t spend your time worrying about things down here.  You should have as little desire for this world as a dead person does.  Your real life is in heaven with Christ and God.” We’re passing through and on our way to heaven.  We’re serving and pleasing our King in all that we do.

  2. Take Holy Spirit rejuvenation breaks throughout the day.  I know we have commitments and jobs, however at least twice a day for 15 minutes get alone and invite the Holy Spirit to renew you, energize you and give you kingdom thoughts.  Pray in the Holy Spirit – sing in the Spirit.  Enjoy Him.

  3. At some point – morning, noon or evening – get some exercise.  Release stress build up, increase circulation and improve your overall health.  You do know Jesus walked everywhere.  He used a donkey only once.

  4. The only person that can determine your emotional well being each day is you.  People and things can only serve as a gauge to make us aware of where we are spiritually and emotionally.  Paul writes “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might”.  Romans states “The love of God is in our hearts”.  Let’s choose the love walk.
