Governor criticized for LGBT agenda signed in law
Critics are speaking out against California’s governor following a recent bill becoming law in that state.
The governor recently approved a law that would require public schools to hide a child’s request concerning gender identity. According to the new law if a child prefers clothing, gender pronouns and names that are the opposite of the biological gender they will be allowed to be recognized how they want to be at school. The school’s staff, school board officials, or school administration will be banned from notifying parents or guardians unless they have the consent of the student. LGBTQ activists in the state claim the law is needed to protect students gender choices from parents who may not agree. Critics say the law is designed to keep parents and guardians in the dark. The law is expected to be challenged in court.
