Pastor reports large numbers in revival event
More lives are being changed as revival continues across the US. Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Fellowship Church is reporting more people receiving Christ and a large baptism turn out. The mass baptism was held as part of an ongoing campaign by the church to win the lost followed by a baptism for new believers to publicly acknowledge their newfound faith. Over 2 thousand people were baptized in this latest event.  The event known as the Jesus Revolution Baptism so far has baptized over 8-thousand people in the past three years. Pastor Laurie is continuing to give God praise for this event and says the church will continue to witness the Gospel to the lost across California.

 

Ceasefire agreed upon between Israel and terrorist group
Israeli officials are reporting a ceasefire agreement may possibly be in sight for the Jewish nation with Hamas. Officials in Israel are reporting Hamas has accepted a ceasefire and the return of Israeli hostages. The terrorist group accepted a previously proposed 60-day ceasefire. IDF’s Chief of Staff called the acceptance of the deal, a turning point in the war. The most recent conflict between Israel and Hamas began last year, after the terrorist group attacked on October 7th. Since that time a number of negotiation talks have broken down and various deals have been struck, but not honored.
The conflict has also caused a rise in Antisemitism and Anti-Israeli sentiment. The US under the Trump Administration has announced they will back Israel in its efforts to secure their nation’s democracy.

 

Judge rules in favor of Christian afterschool organizations
A court has ruled in favor of a Christian afterschool club. A federal justice has ruled in favor of two afterschool clubs that witness the Gospel of Jesus to elementary school aged children. Child Evangelism Fellowship and Good News Clubs applied to have afterschool clubs in Oakland California. The Oakland Unified School District was accused of delaying the groups’ applications over the past two years. The school district claims the clubs would be in violation of certain laws. The district denying and delayed the applications according to attorneys as a way to deter the groups from being even established in the district. The groups later sued citing religious discrimination. Justice Haywood Gilliam Jr. agreed with the after-school clubs. Gilliam said in his order that the school district was simply wrong. He added that the law as clearly in the favor of the after-school clubs. Both groups were represented by Liberty Counsel in the lawsuit. The organization praised the court for ruling in their clients’ favor.

In addition to having several nutrients, zucchini is a good source of potassium, and help with blood pressure. Zucchini is also a good source of fiber and high in antioxidants. This vegetable has also gained popularity as a substitute for pasta as a healthy alternative. Zucchini normally harvested between June through September.
