Dr. Bylsma is encouraging people to study the Word of God more, especially in the current culture climate here in the U.S. and around the World. Dionysus was a god worshiped in Ancient Greece. This Greek god was the god of frenzy, festivities, spiritual ecstasy, wine, and alcohol. The segment also featured a nude singer covered in flowers and fake prosthetics. Critics called the Opening Games, “woke, sexually charged” and that organizers failed to acknowledge that the Olympics tends to be a family friendly television event. Meaning young children may have been exposed to this adult content during prime-time television.

Dr. Murthy compared the effects of loneliness on the body to the same as smoking and obesity. Dr. Daniel Amen adds that social media is a part of the problem for young people. Amen says that this level of disconnect could lead to mental health and brain health issues over time. The doctor offered one major piece of advice: go back to church. Dr. Amen says that getting involved in the local church adds fulfillment by volunteering and building community, along with person-to person interactions. These are keys he calls important and says there’s no better place to build a sense of  community than in a church. According to studies those who attend church have a better sense of community, lower risk of depression and suicide, less stress and longer life expectancy. The Bible reads in Hebrews 10:25 in the Amplified: “Not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.”

“Shot heard around the world” causes more fallout/calls for peace across the U.S.
US lawmakers across party lines are calling for peace and unity following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump one week ago. Trump’s survival of the shooting is being called a miracle by Christians, conservatives, and those who have never even discussed faith. In one interview, Israeli Special Operations veteran Aaron Cohen noted that Trump’s slight turning of the head is what saved his life, abruptly averting an intended “kill shot” by the shooter. Instead, the bullet grazed the former president’s ear causing an injury. He was transported to a Pennsylvania hospital where he was treated and released that evening.  Karen Foerster, a Trump supporter, was overcome by the heat and had left the rally early with her husband, Rick. They coincidently visited the same ER.  As they witnessed the arrival of the former president, most compelling to her were the voices of concern in the waiting room. Mr. Foerster announced to those around him that he and his wife were going to pray for the former president. “We had four or five people come over and we just prayed and interceded for him,” said Mr. Foerster. Trump, concerning the incident, on social media told people that it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable from happening. One rally attendee was killed, and two other attendees were injured in the attempted assassination. The gunman identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed by a secret service sniper. Following the shooting, America’s toxic political climate now faces calls to tone down the rhetoric in hopes to quell the vitriol this year’s election has stoked. Christians are called on to pray for all political leaders, for unity and for revival in the U.S. Unity, however, is going to take more than statements, “thoughts and prayers” and legislation to bring us together. Morality, which is the real issue, cannot be legislated, because it comes from the heart. It starts with knowing Jesus.

Following the event, the Nicaraguan government accused organizers of money laundering. The ministers who were citizens of that nation were later arrested, charged with crimes and fined $80 million. They have now been sentenced to prison time ranging from 12-15 years. Representatives from Mountain Gateway accused the Nicaraguan government of fabricating charges, calling the trial and sentencing a sham and persecution. Several members of the U.S. Senate are asking the Biden administration to impose sanctions on the nation of Nicaragua for this clear violation of religious freedom against Christians.

SNBC Health report: Evidence demonstrates that getting dirty is one key to a healthy immune system, a lower rate of allergies and asthma, and a better mood.

Dirt can help seed your skin and gut microbiome with beneficial microbes. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, roughly 1 in 3 adults and 1 in 4 children in the U.S. have seasonal allergies, eczema or a food allergy. The first line of treatments for seasonal allergies, anxiety and depression are medications, many of which come with a long list of side effects. The good news?

There is strong data to suggest that the more you're exposed to soil and dirt, the more diverse your gut microbiome and the stronger your immune system, which affects many physiological processes. While the first step is to step outside, the second step might be to get your hands in the dirt and enjoy doing it.

So, turn off your TV and go work in your garden, or walk in the woods or on the beach."

While taking probiotics and prebiotics can help reseed your gut microbiome and affect your overall health, several more steps can prevent damage and help improve your microbiome diversity.

1.         Stop using antibacterial soap and detergents, and use regular soap and water to clean your hands,

2.         Clean up your diet — Choose organically-grown foods and eliminate products grown with genetically modified seeds or sprayed with pesticides and insecticides, as these destroy your gut bacteria, and

3.         Eat fermented foods

As you start to get dirty and think about playing in the dirt or mud, steer clear of dirt in polluted areas that contain harmful contaminants. Don’t use chemical weed killer or glyphosate and choose the best soil possible for your pots and raised gardens so you can enjoy the same benefits as your plants.

SNBC Health report: a medical professional says that all issues in the body can be traced back to not having a healthy lifestyle.
According to Dr. Casey Means the majority of health issues can be combated by simply eating better. According to Means the medical system is designed to treat illnesses but not to prevent them. The doctor says if patients practice a healthy regimen as a lifestyle most health issues would not exist. Dr. Means says this regimen includes eating well, exercise, and getting plenty of rest. Dr. Means says medical schools in America barely cover nutrition and preventative health, but instead focus on treatment for existing health issues. The doctor advises avoiding processed foods when possible, eating foods that are whole, and fresh and using oils rich in polyphenols such as olive oil, avocado oil and organic coconut oil.
