1. (Member) Carolyn Gilmore’s son passed; (Cedric Gilmore). There will be a visitation open to the public from 7-8pm TOMORROW (May 9th ) at Grier Funeral Home (John McCarroll Ave.). The Celebration of Life committal service will be held Tuesday May 14th at 10am at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
2. (Members) James and Jacqueline Sibby’s son passed; (Jared Sibby).
The service will be held THIS FRIDAY, May 10th – Family hour 11 AM and service at 12 Noon in the dome.
3. (Member) Peter Williams’ brother passed; (Tommy Lee Williams) arrangements are incomplete at this time.
4. Victory Christian Center School invites you to their Spring Performing Arts Program TOMORROW (May 9th) at 7 PM in the VCC Dome. The Spring production is entitled, “A Special Gift”. This event is open to the VCC Church family and the public.
5. On Thursday, May 16th,“Ignite the Fire” Prayer Service will be held alongside a guest group of Korean Intercessors. They are coming ready to ignite our nation through prayer! There will be a pre-party at 6 PM and the prayer service will be held from 7:00-8:30 PM at Campus 3. This event is FREE, but registration is required to attend. Visit vccenter.net/ignite to register.
6. On Friday, May 31st, “Ignite the Fire” Concert will feature recording artist. . . Big Breeze! There will be a pre-party at 6 PM and the concert starts at 7 PM in the VCC Dome. Come enjoy a night of rap, praise, and worship as we seal this experience with thanksgiving for the Lord’s mighty works! This event is FREE, but registration is required to attend. 7. The MTCC Alumni & Friends Association will hold its 2nd Annual Classic Car Show on Saturday, June 1st, beginning at 10 AM (registration begins at 9am). Everyone is invited to enjoy a day of viewing beautiful classic cars and trucks as well as great food and fellowship. Classic car enthusiasts, you can register now at more than conquerors college alumni.org / classic car show to get the early bird special which ends May 17th .
8. The Victory Christian Center King's Garden is now active for the 2024 garden season through November. All interested volunteers, please sign up at the Welcome Center. Please allow 1 week after you sign up to be contacted by the garden leader. Hands-on training provided. No garden experience required. Service time for garden volunteers is generally
7 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. each Saturday.
9. The VCC Missions Department is asking each member to bring the following item: Children’s Underwear. Items may be dropped off at the Food & Clothing Room located in the front foyer of the Dome across from the Wordshop or at Campus 3 weekdays (9:30 AM-4:30 PM). Thank you in advance!

14. "Save the Date", Star Parker, guest speaker and founder of CURE (Center for Urban Renewal and Education) will be sharing at Victory for a special "Learn and Pray" session, Tuesday May 28th. This session will be during our Tuesday evening prayer at 7pm at Campus 3. CURE aims to fight poverty and restore dignity through scholarship supporting faith, freedom and personal responsibility. MOH CLASSES ONLINE
22. Ministry of Helps Classes are available online! There are three options to register for these classes: 1. Go to vccenter.net, click on the “serve” tab and complete the submission form. 2. Sign up at the Welcome Center or 3. Email churchoffice@vccenter.net. If you are unable to take the classes online, please call the Church Office at 704-602-6010.
NEW MEMBERS CLASSES – ONLINE
23. New Members Classes are available online. If you are interested in church membership, please go to vccenter.net, click on the “New Members Classes Online” link under the “Connect” tab. Submit your first and last name and email address. Your login credentials will then be sent to you.
MINISTRY OF HELPS-VOLUNTEERS NEEDED/INTEREST
24. The VCC Hospitality Team is now accepting signups for members ages 19 & up. If you enjoy working behind the scenes ministering to those visiting our church, please sign up at the booth across from the Wordshop after service; both male and female members are needed.
25. VCC Youth Fun Night for ages 9-18 needs chaperones! If you are a VCC member, at least 21 years old, completed MOH classes, have a desire/calling to work with youth and a fun personality; then we'd love for you to come serve with us! Flexible time slots are available once approved. All interested may complete a MOH application at the Welcome Center.
26. Are you good with capturing photos on your phone or mobile device? Does posting a story or GIF on Instagram or Facebook make you giddy? Then the VCC Social Media Ministry of Helps may be just for you. This team will help support the VCC Marketing and Promotions Department by capturing and documenting ministry events from the POV (point of view) of VCC. If interested in serving in this special MOH, please stop by the Welcome to complete a MOH application.
