 1.   In the Know will be held THIS FRIDAY at 7:30 PM at Campus 3. In The Know is a live session taught by Pastor Marilyn to share valuable information about current events with the members of VCC that is generally not found in the mainstream media. This is a MEMBERS ONLY event.

2.   Are you born again and want to obey your Lord and Savior in Water Baptism? Water Baptism will be held Sunday, September 20th, at 5:30 PM at Campus 3. Please stop by the Welcome Center to sign up and receive an important information sheet. (You must sign up in advance.)

3.   Attention Youth! The VCC Church Youth Basketball season is near! If you are interested in playing, you may sign up at the booth across from the Wordshop beginning today through Sunday, September 20th. Practices will start on Saturday, October 3rd.

4.   The VCC Travel Bus is headed to St. Augustine and Jacksonville Beach in Florida from Thursday, October 8th through Saturday, October 10th! If you are interested, please stop by the Welcome Center to pay your deposit and receive an important information sheet! Space is limited, and the sign-up deadline is Sunday, September 20th, so register now!

5.   If you are celebrating a birthday in the month of September, Pastor Marilyn would like to meet with you immediately after service Sunday, September 27th, in the Church Office reception area (West side of the Dome). If you are a member and have children 9 years and up that attend VCC and they have a September birthday, please go by the Welcome Center and leave their names.

6.   The NextGen Youth Meeting with Pastor Marilyn for youth, ages 12-18, will be held Sunday, September 27th at 5:30 PM in the Victory Youth Building Gym. Following the meeting, youth will be escorted to their respective Bible Classes.

7.   K&G has discontinued the “Woven in Faithinitiative. Thank you so much for your support in giving back to our community!

8.   Attention Premiers who are going on the Bahamas Cruise! Queen Ossie would like to meet with you IMMEDIATELY AFTER SERVICE TODAY in the section behind the Media Booth.

9.     Join the Men's Health and Fitness Team for their fall workout sessions starting Saturday, September 19th, from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at the After School Building, located at 7130 Old Pineville Rd. This 8-week program costs $2 per session, and the first week is free of charge! Interested men ages 18 and up may sign up at the Welcome Center. The deadline to sign up is THIS WEDNESDAY.

10.  Save the Date for the 4th annual Classic Car Show sponsored by MTCC Alumni & Friends on Saturday, September 26th! All proceeds will support the academic and technological needs of the students, instructors, and staff at More Than Conquerors College! Admission is FREE, so make plans to come out and enjoy great fellowship, food trucks, vendors, door prizes, and more. 11.  Victory Family! During this season of family reunions, if you are inviting your relatives to visit Victory Christian Center and worship with us during your family reunion, the Family Reunion Committee would love to arrange a special meet and greet to welcome them! Simply reach out to Wanda Douglas by contacting the church office at 704-602-6010.

12.  If you are a skillful singer or musician, then our praise teams are a great place to use your talents in service to the Lord! We’ll train you to effectively serve and help usher in the presence of God on a weekly basis, so that lives can be transformed by the power of God! Visit the Welcome Center to sign up and receive information about auditioning.

13.  Men of Victory! Just a reminder, the quarterly Men’s Family and Friends Movie Night will be held TOMORROW at the VYB. Dinner will be provided at 6 PM, followed by the movie at 7 PM; entitled Faith of Angels. The special menu will include Curry chicken, rice, peas, and cabbage, and Jamaican beef pie. Invite your MALE family members and friends and enjoy a night of food, entertainment, and fellowship!

14.  Fun Night for children ages 9-18 is held Friday nights from 7-11 PM at the VYB. Appropriate attire is required.

15.  Victory Family! The VCCS Volleyball and Soccer teams have games this week! TOMORROW’S games will be at home against Socrates Academy. TUESDAY, the soccer team will be at Weddington Christian Academy and the volleyball teams will be at Lake Norman Christian. FRIDAY’s games will be at Union Prep. Make plans to come out and support your KINGS!

16.  Victory Family! For the 2026–2027 school year, VCCS is seeking male house parents who are willing to open their homes to our international students and serve as ambassadors of the Kingdom—providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered “home away from home” during the academic year. If you feel led to serve in this capacity and would like to be considered to host one or two students, please stop by the Welcome Center to sign up and receive additional information.

17.  Christian Center School 2026–2027 Enrollment & Re-Enrollment is in process!  Now is the time to secure your child’s place at Victory Christian Center School for the 2026–2027 school year. We are excited to welcome both new and returning families as we continue developing kingdom-impacting leaders. There are tuition assistance opportunities:  NC Opportunity Scholarship. Eligible families may receive up to $7,942 toward tuition.  ESA (Education Savings Account) Funding. 19.  The Missions Department is in need of baby detergent and diapers sizes 4 and 5. Items may be dropped off at the Dome Food and Clothing Room before and after service, or weekdays at the Missions Office located at Campus 3. Thank you!

20.  Help us prepare students for a successful school year! The Missions Office is collecting new school supplies to support children and families in our community as they head back to school. They are accepting donations including, but not limited to, backpacks, writing utensils, folders, and notebooks. Donations may be dropped off at the Missions Office between 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM or at the Dome before and after service in the Food and Clothing Room.

21.  Operation Christmas Child is currently looking to hire approximately 400 Christian men and women to fill paid positions for a four-week project with Operation Christmas Child. Seasonal employment at their Charlotte Processing Center runs from mid-November through mid-December, with the opportunity to work 40+ hours per week, Monday – Saturday, with Thanksgiving Day off. 23.  The Missions Department is currently seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers to join their Food & Clothing Ministry. There is a special need for men volunteers to assist with lifting, loading, organizing, setup, and outreach support. 24.  The Missions Department is looking for people with skills to volunteer to assist people operating on a tight budget, couponing, cooking healthy meals, creative homemaking, and leveraging resources. 27.  If you were baptized and haven’t received your baptismal certificate, please pick it up at the Welcome Center.

28.  A new, tax-deferred IRA-type account for children, with $1,000 in federal seed money for children born between 2025 and 2028. To open an account, visit trumpaccounts.gov.

29.  Ministry of Helps Classes are available online! There are three options to register for these classes: 1. Go to vccenter.net, click on the “serve” tab and complete the submission form. 2. Sign up at the Welcome Center or 3. Email churchoffice@vccenter.net.  If you are unable to take the classes online, please call the Church Office at 704-602-6010.

30.  New Members Classes are available online. If you are interested in church membership, please go to vccenter.net, click on the “New Members Classes Online” link under the “Connect” tab. Submit your first and last name and email address. Your login credentials will then be sent to you.

31.  The VCC Nursery Ministry is looking for excited volunteers to work with our 2 - 4 year olds. Benefits include: instant hero status, exercise during praise and worship, unlimited high fives, and helping build a foundation for the next generation. If you are interested in joining, please sign up at the Welcome Center.

33.  The VCC Women's Shelter is touching and changing lives for the glory of God....If you are interested in serving at the Women's Shelter, we have chaperone shifts available Wednesday and Friday evenings and all-day Saturdays and Sundays.  We are also in need of breakfast, lunch and dinner cooks Saturdays and Sundays.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center.

34.  The Media Ministry has need of additional volunteers in all areas:  Video, Audio, Floor Director, I-MAG and Stage & Lighting.  No experience required and training will be provided.  If you are looking for an opportunity to hold up our pastor’s arms, the Media Ministry may be the area for you.  If interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center.  Thank you in advance.

35.  The Ministry is in need of additional volunteers to serve as the Floor Director. The Floor Director manages the activities of the service/livestream inside the sanctuary. They ensure that the service/livestream production runs smoothly and on time. They relay cues and time counts to talent, presenters and guests. This position requires being able to multitask and to think quickly and be firm but polite. If you are interested in serving in this position, please stop by the Welcome Center to complete a Ministry of Helps application. 

36.  Do you enjoy working behind the scenes and have a knack for technology? We’re looking for volunteers to join our I-MAG (Image Magnification) Team. We have an immediate need for volunteers for Sunday evening services! If you're comfortable with computers and can type, this is a great way to serve. No prior experience is needed—training will be provided! This is more than just pushing buttons—by serving on the I-MAG team, you are upholding our Pastor’s arms and playing a vital role in spreading the Gospel. Stop by the Welcome Center to fill out a MOH application—we’d love to have you on the team!

37.  VCC Youth Fun Night for ages 9-18 needs chaperones!  If you are a VCC member, at least 21 years old, completed MOH classes, have a desire/calling to work with youth and a fun personality; then we'd love for you to come serve with us!  Flexible time slots are available once approved.  All interested may complete a MOH application at the Welcome Center.
