John 7:38-39 NKJV - He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Last night I dreamt about a large, long pipe made up of many connectors through which water was pouring down a hill. I went to the top when I noticed there was a breach in the pipe. One connector was loosed from the piece below it and water was wasting out of it. There was a boy there and I was rebuking him for not seeing to it that the pipes were connected.
We want to be a vessel of the Lord, delivering holy water to those who need it. The detached connector at the top represents something we need to settle with the Holy Spirit who pours into us so we can pour out to people in need. Let’s watch out for breaches in our connector at the top so the precious gifts of the Holy Spirit are not wasted and stopped from getting to the ones who need it. May we follow all instructions, be still to make sure we are getting His instructions, and purge ourselves of anything that could come between us and the Lord.
