When it comes to believing God, perhaps all of us at some point thought we knew how God was going to meet our need or answer our prayer. We may have checked the mailbox or looked for a “blessing” handshake. The truth is, however, that we just don’t know how God is going to meet our need. We have to take the limits off of God. God has a million ways to meet our needs. We must allow Him to do it in the way that He wants to. Eventually Naaman obeyed the man of God and received his healing from leprosy, but he had to humble himself and get over his expectations. We must do the same. We must be doers of the Word of God, and if there are any instructions from the Spirit of God, we must obey Him. Our job is to believe, it is God’s job to bring His Word to pass. He is watching over His Word to perform it.
