📖 “But far be it from me to glory [in anything or anyone] except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) through Whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world!” ⎯Galatians 6:14 Amplified Bible Classic Edition

The world has been and should be crucified to us. We should be “dead to the world,” and the world should be “dead to us.” These phrases simply mean that as we continue to grow and mature in the things of God, the things of this world won’t matter to us as they used to. As we mature and grow, we understand that this earth is not our home and that we are just passing through. We are just pilgrims on a spiritual journey until we go on into glory (heaven). We can still enjoy our time on the earth, but we are not to be attached to this world. We glory in the cross. We glory in our salvation. We glory in knowing that our names are written in the Book of Life. Hallelujah!
