Esther was where she was for a reason. She was put in a place where she could speak up and preserve the very existence of her people. She was placed there by God, and the same could be said of Joseph. He told his brothers that they meant to do him harm, but it was actually God that had placed him where he was. We know that Joseph brought a lot of things on himself, but he understood the importance of where he was. We have to understand our importance. We are in the kingdom of God, and we are a people of purpose. There are people that God wants to send us to. There are people who need what we have to offer. We are ambassadors of the kingdom, and we are God's representatives. Just like Esther and Joseph were placed in strategic places, God is doing the same thing with us. We must stay in tune with the Spirit of God so that we can fulfill what God has in store for us. We are the light of the world. We are the salt of the earth. We are a city set on a hill that can not be hidden.
