We have a God that knows the future. He knows what is up the road, and He will show us not only what is coming, but also how to handle it. After David had discovered that his family, his goods, the families of his men and their substance were taken, he went to God to find out what to do. After inquiring of the Lord, God gave Him instructions, and David pursued and recovered all. As believers we have a right to seek the Lord and receive His wisdom. James even told us that if we need wisdom, we should ask God (James1:5). God will give us strategy, and He will give us wisdom. He tells us to call unto Him, and He will show us mighty things, things that are fenced in and hidden to our understanding (Jeremiah 33:3 AMP). Hearing God comes out of relationship with Him, and that is something that we can develop on a daily basis. Every good Father talks to His children, and God is definitely a good Father. He is always looking to take our lives from glory to glory.
