Everything we receive from God, we receive it by faith. The above text gives us some insight into Abraham’s faith. Abraham believed and trusted God. Abraham received by believing God and trusting in what He said. If we are going to receive from God, we must do the same. God is no respecter of persons, but He is a respecter of faith. God honors His Word, and He is watching over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12 AMPC). Our job is to know what God has said, and then to believe and trust that God will do what He said He would do. When we do our part, God will always do His.
