If you know anything about the story of Joseph, you will know that he had to overcome several obstacles on the way to walking into what God had for him. He was sold into slavery by his brothers and then lied on by his master’s wife. At this point in his life, he had a right to be down and out, upset and mad at the world. Instead, he was concerned about other people. He was concerned about two individuals who gave the appearance that something was wrong. He wasn’t thinking about himself and his hardships, he was concerned about the needs of others. No matter what you are going through, there are others who are experiencing difficulties too. Remember that Job’s situation turned around after he prayed for his friends. There is someone around you, that may be hurting, you may be the one person that God may use to turn things around in their lives. Stay sensitive and stay ready, God is counting on you.
