It is always in our best interest to be generous people. Our Heavenly Father is generous, and we should always endeavor to be like our Heavenly Father. The Bible even tells us that if He did not spare His own Son, will He not with Him freely give us all things (Romans 8:32). A person who is constantly giving will eventually get to the place where they are constantly receiving. When we give, it is given back to us good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, men will give unto our bosom (Luke 6:38). It is always beneficial to be a generous man or woman because God’s Word is always true. If we sow, we will also reap. If we choose to be callous and oblivious to the needs of others, we are setting ourselves up to reap the same. Let us always keep the golden rule in our minds, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.
