There are many believers who ignore the Word of God. Many don’t mean to do it, but it is so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. We must make time for the Word. Satan will see to it that we stay busy. He wants us to be on the grind from the time we wake up until the time we go to bed. We must prioritize the Word of God. When we recognize the importance of the Word, we see to it that at some point, we read the Word of God. We have to imitate Job who said, “I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.” It would be hard to ignore the Word of God when you esteem it more than your food. It was said of Smith Wigglesworth that after every meal he would pull out His bible and say, “We have fed our body, now let’s feed our spirits.” Where would we be spiritually if we fed our spirits as much as we fed our bodies? Let us try and see. Honoring God’s Word in our lives will bring honor and it will cause prosperity in every area of our lives.
