God’s will is for us to succeed in every aspect of life. He desires for us to “prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers” (III John 2). Our victories will come out of our relationship with God. As we walk with God, He will give us divine instruction and insight into our situations. He will lead us and guide us in the way that we should go, and He will fight for us. God will defend us against our critics. He defended Moses when Miriam criticized him. God even let her know that He did not speak to Moses the way that He spoke with people: He spoke to Him face to face. He was implying that there was a closeness there, a relationship. Every good father desires to have a relationship with their children. As we fellowship with God through the Word and prayer, we will have a better understanding of who He is and of His ability. Knowledge of the Word and application of the Word will cause us to prevail and succeed in any situation the enemy brings our way. God always causes us to triumph, and that victory comes through knowing Him.
