Jesus is the perfect example of fulfilling the will of God. He put up with a lot of stuff, but He did not allow those things to distract Him. He knew what His purpose was, and He would not allow anyone, or anything, to stop Him from walking in it. When they tried to make Him a king, He hid Himself. When they wouldn’t receive Him in Samaria, He was so focused that it did not bother Him. They lied on Him. They mocked Him. His family misunderstood Him, yet He kept going despite all of that. He saw the end from the beginning and kept His eyes on that. He is now at a place of honor because He finished His mission. If we want the same result, we must finish our mission. We must fulfill the will of God for our lives. If we imitate Him, we will be victorious like Him. We will experience the exhilarating finish in and with God. We will finish the course and finish it with joy.
