Isaiah 54:14-17 (NKJV)

In righteousness you shall be established. You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear and from terror, for it shall not come near you.  Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. “Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the spoiler to destroy.  No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.

God establishes who He is in relation to the enemies we face. He said that He was the one who created the devil. He did not make him a devil when he was created. He was created an angel and later became the devil as a result of his rebellion against God. However, God did create him. God created all things. John 1:1-3 says,” In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” God was communicating that since He is the creator of all He knows how to handle all. There is nothing we can face in life that God cannot handle. We are to be free of fear. Whatever terror is out there will not come near us if we trust God. We must be established in our righteousness. We are in right standing with the Lord through the blood of Jesus Christ. We could not earn our righteousness. It was given to us when we were born again of the Spirit of God. Our righteousness gives us boldness to come into the Throne Room of God and obtain what we need and want in keeping with His will. When fear comes to us, let us resist it with the breastplate of righteousness. We are in right standing with God. He can handle everything we face and He will do it because we belong to Him and trust in Him.
