Joel 2:25 NKJV
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you.
It’s amazing reading as we look at what God promised His people through the prophet Joel. He said, “So I will restore to you the years…” Sometimes we can suffer for years and experience losses that seem impossible to recover. However, God knows how to restore in such a dramatic fashion that we will experience lost years being given back to us. In other words, we will experience such blessing that it will make up for the years that we suffered. It is always a good thing to stay with God and trust Him through every trial. If we do not faint in our minds, we will be able to see blessings we could not imagine. Then when our temporary life on earth is over, the greatest blessing of all will be us hearing Him say in the end, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.”
