Psalm 23:3 NKJV
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
It is so good to know that if we are wounded in our souls we have a Shepherd of our souls, according to 1 Peter 2:25 who will restore us. The psalmist, David said that the Lord was His shepherd and the restorer of his soul. God has blessed us with peace and joy in our souls. Sometimes things happen that seem to take them away from us but the Lord heals our broken hearts, calms our troubled minds and restores us to the state He intended for us to live in. When we are troubled in our minds or our emotions or seem to have difficulty making right choices, the Lord can put us in order again. Let us cry out to Him and allow Him to do what only He can – restore our souls.
