Colossians 4:2-3 NKJV
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,
Paul wrote to the Colossian Christians and encouraged them to continue to pray with determination and to pray for his team so they could have more opportunities to share the gospel. We must not be so distracted by our own concerns that we forget that we need to pray that the gospel will reach the masses in the world that need to come to know Jesus as Savior and Lord. We must do our part to share the good news with those around us but there are ministers who are specifically called to go places we will never go. Let us pause and pray for those who are carrying the gospel to the unreached that doors will be opened for them to get the Word of God to them.
