Proverbs 31:3 NKJV
Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to that which destroys kings.
King Lemuel’s mother warned him that no matter how powerful a king may be there are things that can destroy him. She named one thing in particular – women. This applies to our male monarchs. The devil has not tried anything new in thousands of years and his main weapon against males since Adam is females. There is nothing wrong with being female but when the devil gets into a woman he can use her to destroy a man faster than any other weapon. That’s why this is mentioned separately from all other things that can destroy a man. As royalty – male and female we must remember that we have been given tremendous power and authority and Satan is jealous of it. So, through deception, he tries to rob us by introducing temptations that he knows can incapacitate us spiritually. We need to be alert to the things that come our way that are weakening our faith, diluting our spiritual lives and putting distance between us and our King of kings. Then we must use the whole armor of God to defeat them so we can remain strong and maintain our dominion.
