Romans 8:6 NKJV
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Paul lets us know the kind of attitude that contributes to our peace. When we think like the world, or based on our flesh (carnally), it leads to death. When we think in line with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, it produces peace. So when we find ourselves seemingly lacking in peace, let us turn our attention to the Word and the Spirit. If we find ourselves on a path that takes us away from the directions given us in the Word, or given to us by the Holy Spirit, let us make a right turn and refresh our peace.
