On Saturday, June 24, the NextGen Youth Ministry of Victory Christian Center went to Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, North Carolina giving the young people a safe place to have some good, clean fun, unplug from technology, and simply enjoy nature and be carefree in the company of like-minded people. The ministry's purpose is to provide an atmosphere where kids between the ages of 12 and 18 can have their needs met by God and have the opportunity to apply their skills and abilities for the glory of God.

We do know that kids this age require a lot of food and fun! On the excursion, the kids played mini golf, rode paddle boats, rode a carousel, rode a train, and went gem mining! Under a picnic shelter, they also shared appetizers, pizza, and chicken wings. The NextGen Youth Services bring the youth together every other week. The youth programs at Victory Christian Center rotate between Jubilee for children ages 5-8 and Chosen Ones Wednesday Night Live programs for children aged 9 to 11.
