Earlier this month, Victory Christian Center hosted the “Women In Pursuit” LOV Ladies' Luncheon to help women in the Body of Christ believe that they are qualified and able to fulfill God’s calling on their lives. God is raising up spiritual mothers and midwives to help birth the next great revival, movement, and spiritual awakening from Heaven. On July 8th, 2023, Dr. Patricia Morgan came to Victory Christian Center in Charlotte, NC to confirm this work that God is doing among His people. Nothing brings more joy to a woman in pursuit of Christ than knowing that she is in the center of God’s will for her life and that she is operating from a place of intimacy with Him.
One of the reasons many believers do not fulfill God’s purpose for their lives is that they do not believe in themselves. As women, it has been common for our personal self-image to be lower than the way God sees us in Christ. At this year’s “Women In Pursuit” LOV Luncheon, the women were spurred on to spiritual motherhood as well as encouraged with a prophetic message from the Lord.
Over 500 women attended the event this year, during which, they received prize giveaways upon entry. The ladies enjoyed delectable gourmet entrees and desserts such as Red Snapper Fillet or Baked Lemon Thyme Chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, fresh fruit, black forest chocolate cake, sweet potato cake, pound cake and strawberry cupcakes. Women from the praise team led the audience into worshipping and cultivating an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit was free to minister, and by the end of the event, two ladies responded to an invitation for salvation, rededication, and being filled with the Holy Spirit.
The LOV Core Team along with the event coordinator, Dr. Freddie Allen, presented Dr. Pat Morgan and Pastor Marilyn Gool with gifts on behalf of the ladies, and at the end of the event, Dr. Pat Morgan prayed and imparted a blessing and anointing for education to Mrs. Cheryl Riley, the principal of Victory Christian Center School.
