Justice pauses covid mandate in NYC
A justice in New York State has blocked a covid shot mandate by the outgoing mayor of New York City. Judge Frank P. Nervo issued a temporary order to stop the mandate following lawsuits against the order. The justice has offered the city to reconsider the case if an appeal is filed by tomorrow. There is a hearing scheduled for this case on Tuesday of this week. Mayor Bill de Blasio issued the mandate in October for the city’s employees. This includes police, firefighters, and other departments including teachers. De Blasio claims the rate of employees who have taken the shot has gone up following the mandate. Plaintiffs in the case, including one NYC police detective say the mandates are unconstitutional and do not consider those that have acquired natural immunity from having covid. The mayor also recently issued a mandate for businesses in the private sector. An attorney in Long Island has already announced he will file a lawsuit against the city’s mandate. The deadline will go into effect just four days before De Blasio is set to leave office. The city of Los Angeles’ school board also recently fired 500 employees who refused to get the shot under a district wide mandate. New York City and Los Angeles have the strictest covid shot mandates in the nation.

Student says former high school condones hex
A former student in California is exposing what he called a disturbing document from his alma mater. Spencer Lindquist in an article series for ‘The Federalist’ says his former school district is so “woke” that is has endorsed forms of witchcraft against people. Lindquist claims a school document has been circulating at the Campbell Union High School District that endorses putting a hex on people that say All Lives Matter. The slogan has been used as an alternative to the Black Lives Matter Movement. Supporters of the phrase say that all life is precious and should be respected as such not just the BLM movement. The former student says the text in question is listed in a document that discusses police brutality and violence. According to information released by CBN news reporters, the document instructs students to hex people as a way to get out anger and frustration. The document further instructs students how to spells on anyone with opposing political views. Lindquist says the school district had previously tried to teach critical race theory as well and believes his district was a trial run for the teaching method. The school district has not commented on the controversy.

Israel announces completion of Iron Wall
The nation of Israel has announced it has completed construction on what they are calling the iron wall. The security measure is a barrier along the Gaza border to protect the nation and its citizens. The Iron Wall is equipped with underground sensors, radars, and cameras. The high-tech border construction is designed to help Israel’s defense of its borders against Hamas. The terrorist group has used Gaza as a stronghold area to attack Israel and settlements in the area. Tensions have escalated again following Israel’s announcement that they will continue to allow citizens to build homes in the West Bank. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz says he hopes the new structure will give residents in the area a sense of security. Palestinians wanted the land to create a nation of its own. The disputed land was a part of Israel’s borders in Biblical times. Israeli forces acquired the land in modern times during the Six-day war in 1967.

SNBC Health report: Researchers advise humans should consume honey like a bee
Researchers’ say humans can learn a lot from bees about the benefits of honey. According to entomologist May Berenbaum, people need to know how bees consume honey to ensure they also receive the full amount of benefits it has to offer. According to the doctor during her research studies, when a sick bee was offered various kinds of honey the insect only consumed the honey that was best to assist with its issue. Berenbaum says humans should take the same approach and look at different forms of honey for its nutritional values. Honey is full of plant nutrients, and helps with bees’ longevity, gives a boost to their immune system, and helps heal wounds. It is known to help fight infections and has a number of enzymes, vitamins, minerals and organic molecules. Honey is beneficial to liver function and considered an alternative sweetener for diabetics. Raw Honeycomb is beneficial to the body providing immunity strength, beneficial to the liver and aids in getting better sleep. It also promotes heart health. Honey helps with seasonal allergies to some plants, but you must purchase honey harvested in your local area to get this benefit.

Aztec deity erected as “Guardian of Peace” as UN in New York
Social media users are voicing their disturbance over a statue that was on display in front of the United Nations in early November. The statue was created by artists and presented by the city of Oaxaca, Mexico to the presiding board of the UN. The statue is called a guardian of Worldwide Peace and Safety. It is modeled after an Aztec deity called the Jaguar god of Darkness, and in the Mayan culture the image is of a deity know as the god of Fire and War. Social medial users referenced Revelation 13 which describes a beast with wings and the mouth of a lion. (Most users online did not mention if they were Christians, but did comment on how disturbed they were by the statue because of how closely it resembles the scripture in the Bible’s).
