Known for their anti-shot stance, the Lamb family reiterated that they would continue to have the same stance and will promote this position. The Catholic church has confirmed on its website a collaboration with the Pope and other religious leaders is moving forward. The Abrahamic Family house project is being built and is confirmed to be inaugurated next year. The project according to reports is now 20 percent complete. The Abrahamic Family House will consist of three buildings: a synagogue, a church, and a mosque. The buildings are being built in Abu Dhabi on an island in the United Arab Emirates. The buildings are a part of an interfaith complex named after Abraham of the Bible, who is recognized by Jewish, Christian, and Islamic faiths. The complex also has another name according to reports The One World Religion complex. The project was dedicated with a ceremony attended by Pope Francis and a Sunni Muslim Sheikh in 2019. During the ceremony, the Pope and the Sheikh signed a global peace covenant called the document of Human Fraternity for World Peace. The complex according to the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity will be, “a space for followers of each respective faith to have real peace of mind and soul within an atmosphere in which a spirit of intimacy prevails”. It is important to note that on the building recognized as the Christian Church the Cross is prohibited, and it is illegal in the UAE for a Muslim to convert to Christianity. It is also illegal to witness the Gospel to a person of Muslim faith.
SNBC NEWS Covid Watch (Germany, Greece, India)
The nation of Germany has announced strict lockdowns for those who have not taken the shot. The nation’s outgoing Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the restrictions just a few days ago. Those who have not received the shot will be limited to only essential buildings such as grocery stores and pharmacies. Merkel made the decision along with the new Chancellor-elect. Critics says this new round of lockdowns is creating a false sense of panic in Europe over the recent Omicron variant- which experts have said is mild in its symptoms.
In Greece parishioners are being told, you must show proof of the shot in order to attend church services. The new rule went into effect the last Sunday in November. The ban is part of more restrictions on those who have not received the shot in that nation. The Greek government this group of citizens will also be banned from indoor spaces unless they can provide proof of a negative covid test. That nation’s Prime Minister says Greece is in mourning unnecessarily because the rate of those who have taken the shot is only at 62 percent, a rate that is less than other European nations (The prime minister claims outbreaks are due to the low shot rates).
A providence in India has issued an extreme measure to get citizens in the area to take the shot. Take the shot or you will not be allowed to buy food. The mandate was announced recently by a senior official in the area. The leader says, “you better get jabbed, because you’re not allowed to go to the store and buy food if you don’t.” Another province in India is threatening to withhold food and pension payments to anyone who has family members that have not taken the shot. One critic on social media warned India is not the only country this method will be used in.
