OSHA announces cancellation of vax mandate enforcement
Major news from OSHA this week. OSHA which stands for The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has announced they will put on hold the Biden Administration’s vaccine mandate. The order would have enforced the shot on private employers with 100 employees or more. The announcement was made after a federal court ordered a temporary stop to the mandate. A panel of three judges ruling in the case called the mandate fatally flawed, and that the order raises serious constitutional concerns. The ruling was made following several lawsuits from private business owners concerning the mandate. OSHA says of their decision, "While OSHA remains confident in its authority to protect workers in emergencies, OSHA has suspended activities related to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation." The Biden Administration turned over the enforcement of the mandate to OSHA following an executive order that the shot was needed to “stop the spread”. The organization would have fined businesses 14-thousand dollars per violation with an increase in the cost of the fine for each repeat violation over time. Attorneys for First Liberty Institute called the mandate a blatant overreach of the government. This announcement was made the same week that a US advisory announced its recommendation for all adults to receive booster shots. The Biden Administration is currently appealing this decision.

SNBC NEWS COVID WATCH: California, Austria, Maryland (FDA)
A school board in California has announced it will not mandate the shot for its students. The Calaveras Unified School District Board announced in a unanimous vote its students and staff will not be required to have the shot to attend or work in their district. This is the second school district in California that has refused to enforce the mandate. The governor of California has ordered a mandate for public schools that will go into effect in July of next year.

In Austria that nation has announced a lockdown for citizens who have not taken the shot or recovered after contracting COVID-19. The rule will apply to those eligible for the shot ages 12 and up. Austrians who have not received the shot can be monitored by the police and are only allowed to do basic activities like work, grocery shopping or going to school. Minimum exercise such as walking is also allowed. Police will be allowed to fine anyone out in public that has not received the shot. Critics called the rules apart of a police state government. This rule will affect two million citizens in Austria. Similar rules were just announced by governments in Norway and Germany. Officials in these countries claim the strict rules are to help stop the spread.

The FDA has announced a time frame regarding information released concerning trial results for Pfizer and other covid shot drugs. The organization says the over 300-thousand pages of research will be given out on a case-by-case basis for requests and could take time. According to their estimate the full results of the study may not be released until the year 2076…55 years from now. Critics call the announcement an attempt to hide the growing number of adverse reactions to the shots created by Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson. Supporters say the estimate is due to the length of the study and each release would have to go through the approval process and released according to each request. According to supporters this would make the process longer to release the entire content concerning study results.

SNBC NEWS Update: NSBA apologizes
The National School Board Association has apologized for its recent criticism towards parents. The NSBA released a statement following nationwide criticism for their request to have parents investigated by the Department of Justice. According to the six-page letter, the association claimed parents’ objections at school board meetings were a threat to the well-being of school board members nationwide. The letter compared parents to domestic terrorists for objecting to school curriculum or policies.  The situation turned into a contentious battle in Washington last week when the US Attorney General was called to testify before Congress. During the testimony US Attorney General Merrick Garland admitted no one in the Biden Administration had advised him concerning the School Board Association’s request. This means the DOJ was going rogue when they requested the FBI to investigate parents. The entire case stemmed from a father being arrested after he questioned a school board in Virginia following the sexual assault of his 14-year-old daughter. The girl was the second victim of a male student who claimed to be gender fluid. The student was allowed in the girls’ restrooms due to his identifying as gender fluid and frequently wearing a skirt. The victims were attacked and assaulted while in the school restrooms.
The father was arrested after an emotional outburst when he attempted to question the school board about his daughter’s assault. A board member has since resigned following the incident. The National School Board Association says the organization will be better moving forward and apologized for language used in the letter towards parents. Parents around the nation have been protesting mask mandates, critical race theory curriculums, and controversial transgender and gender fluid rights being introduced into public schools.
