1.     Want to learn more about how herbal teas may improve your health and wellness? The Health Interest Group will be continuing the "Leaves for Healing" series during a fellowship THIS SATURDAY from 11 AM to 1 PM in the VYB Dining Room. All current HIG members and those desiring to join are encouraged to attend.

2.   If you are celebrating a birthday in the month of August, Pastor Marilyn would like to meet with you immediately after service THIS SUNDAY in the Church Office reception area (West side of the Dome). If you are a member and have children 9 years and up that attend VCC and they have an August birthday, please go by the Welcome Center and leave their names.

3.   The organization, Christian Leaders Fellowship is using our gymnasium to put on a display about the Tabernacle that was erected first in the wilderness as the children of Israel traveled from Egypt to the promised land. The portable Tabernacle remained the central place for worship for the Hebrews until Solomon built the first temple. Each item in the Tabernacle had significance in relation to the coming of Christ our Redeemer. This event will take place on Wednesday, August 26th from 12 PM to 5 PM in the VYB gym. Pop up presentations will occur at 1:30 and 4:00. Free tickets are available by scanning the QR code on the screens. You may also stop by the Welcome Center to grab tickets while supplies last. We hope to see you there!

4.   Join Journey to Joy, a small group for widows and widowers, in a free in-house workshop to understand the differences between wills and living trusts, the probate process, how to protect your home, and name guardians for loved ones. This workshop will be held on Saturday, August 29th from 12 PM - 2 PM in the Campus 3 Dining Room. Learn which tools fit your specific property and goals, and how the right will or trust avoids unnecessary court delays and keeps your assets safe. They will also discuss Final Expense Life Insurance and Incapacity Planning: choosing who makes financial or medical decisions if you're unable to. Lastly, there will be a Q&A session, so bring your questions and get clear answers from an expert! You may sign up at the booth across from the Wordshop after service. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, August 23rd. We look forward to seeing you there!

5.   Baby Dedication will be held Sunday, August 30th, during morning service. Interested parents who are members of VCC are asked to sign up by calling the Church Office (704-602-6010) by Monday, August 24th to participate.

6.   In the Know is CANCELLED for THIS FRIDAY.

7.   Victory Family, please note the clear bag policy for the Charlotte Crusade THIS WEEKEND. Approved bags must be clear, vinyl, or PVC and must NOT exceed 12" x 6" x 12." Backpacks and large bags are NOT allowed. Diaper bags are permitted; the baby must be with their parent or guardian and the bag must be no larger than the size mentioned above. All persons and bags are subject to search at the gate.

8.   Evening meetings and classes previously scheduled for THIS SUNDAY are CANCELLED due to the Charlotte Crusade at Halton Arena on the campus of UNCC. We encourage everyone to participate, and remember to invite someone who needs to be saved or rededicated to the Lord!

9.   For those who would like a ride to the Charlotte Crusade THIS SATURDAY and/or SUNDAY, please sign up at the Welcome Center. The cost is $5 per person, cash only, and is limited to the first 47 people who sign up. The bus will depart from the Victory Youth Building, gym side, at 4 PM.

10.  The VCC Travel Bus is headed to St. Augustine and Jacksonville Beach in Florida from Thursday, October 8th through Saturday, October 10th! If you are interested, please stop by the Welcome Center to pay your deposit and receive an important information sheet! Space is limited, and the sign up deadline is Sunday, September 20th, so register now!

During this season of family reunions, if you are inviting your relatives to visit Victory Christian Center and worship with us during your family reunion, the Family Reunion Committee would love to arrange a special meet and greet to welcome them! 12.  If you are a skillful singer or musician, then our praise teams are a great place to use your talents in service to the Lord! We’ll train you to effectively serve and help usher in the presence of God on a weekly basis, so that lives can be transformed by the power of God! 13.  Men’s Night for VCC Men ages 19 and up is held Monday nights from 6-9 PM at the Victory Youth Building.

16.  Victory Family! VCCS athletics are back! Our Boys Soccer team will host their season-opener against Arborbrook TOMORROW at 5 PM. Admission is $5 per person. The game will be at the high school, located at 1501 Carrier Drive. Make plans to come out and support your KINGS!

For the 2026–2027 school year, VCCS is seeking male house parents who are willing to open their homes to our international students and serve as ambassadors of the Kingdom—providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered “home away from home” during the academic year. If you feel led to serve in this capacity and would like to be considered to host one or two students, please stop by the Welcome Center to sign up and receive additional information.

18.  Christian Center School 2026–2027 Enrollment & Re-Enrollment is in process!  Now is the time to secure your child’s place at Victory Christian Center School for the 2026–2027 school year. We are excited to welcome both new and returning families as we continue developing kingdom-impacting leaders. There are tuition assistance opportunities:  NC Opportunity Scholarship. Eligible families may receive up to $7,942 toward tuition.  ESA (Education Savings Account) Funding. 20.  The Missions Department is in need of diapers and onesies sizes 0-3 months as well as diapers sizes 1 through 4. Items may be dropped off at the Dome Food and Clothing Room before and after service, or weekdays at the Missions Office located at Campus 3. Thank you!

22.  Victory Family! In partnership with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Department, the Missions Department is putting together special bags. They are asking for items including travel-sized toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, shampoo, and socks. As well as feminine hygiene products, underwear, and T-shirts. Donations must be new and unopened. All items may be dropped off at the Dome Food and Clothing Room before and after service, or weekdays at the Missions Office located at Campus 3. Thank you for your generosity!

23.  Help us prepare students for a successful school year! The Missions Office is collecting new school supplies to support children and families in our community as they head back to school. They are accepting donations including, but not limited to, backpacks, writing utensils, folders, and notebooks. Donations may be dropped off at the Missions Office between 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM or at the Dome before and after service in the Food and Clothing Room.

24.  The Missions Department is currently seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers to join their Food & Clothing Ministry. There is a special need for men volunteers to assist with lifting, loading, organizing, setup, and outreach support. 34.  The Media Ministry has need of additional volunteers in all areas:  Video, Audio, Floor Director, I-MAG and Stage & Lighting.  No experience required and training will be provided.  If you are looking for an opportunity to hold up our pastor’s arms, the Media Ministry may be the area for you.  If interested, please sign up at the Welcome Center.  Thank you in advance.

35.  The Ministry is in need of additional volunteers to serve as the Floor Director. The Floor Director manages the activities of the service/livestream inside the sanctuary. They ensure that the service/livestream production runs smoothly and on time. They relay cues and time counts to talent, presenters and guests. This position requires being able to multitask and to think quickly and be firm but polite. If you are interested in serving in this position, please stop by the Welcome Center to complete a Ministry of Helps application. 

36.  Do you enjoy working behind the scenes and have a knack for technology? We’re looking for volunteers to join our I-MAG (Image Magnification) Team. We have an immediate need for volunteers for Sunday evening services! If you're comfortable with computers and can type, this is a great way to serve. No prior experience is needed—training will be provided! This is more than just pushing buttons—by serving on the I-MAG team, you are upholding our Pastor’s arms and playing a vital role in spreading the Gospel. Stop by the Welcome Center to fill out a MOH application—we’d love to have you on the team!

37.  VCC Youth Fun Night for ages 9-18 needs chaperones!  If you are a VCC member, at least 21 years old, completed MOH classes, have a desire/calling to work with youth and a fun personality; then we'd love for you to come serve with us!  Flexible time slots are available once approved.  All interested may complete a MOH application at the Welcome Center.
