2. Attention widows & widowers! You are invited to a day trip full of fellowship, fun, and relaxation as we experience the beauty of Asheville during the fall leaf-changing season. Join us Saturday, October 17th from 7:30 AM to 6 PM for a day of shopping at the Asheville Farmers Market with lunch ON YOUR OWN at the Moose Cafe. The cost to ride the bus is $10 per person. If you would like to attend, please sign up at the booth across from the Wordshop after service. The sign-up deadline is THIS SUNDAY. We look forward to seeing you there!
3. Are you born again and want to obey your Lord and Savior in Water Baptism? Water Baptism will be held Sunday, October 18th, at 5:30 PM at Campus 3. Please stop by the Welcome Center to sign up and receive an important information sheet. (You must sign up in advance.)
4. Did you know that more and more people are turning to socialism and communism every day? Socialism and communism are dangerous to America and to us as Christians. These political beliefs have evil intentions, and we cannot allow evil like this to spread. When participation is low, a small group makes decisions for everyone else. If you don't vote, others will make the decision on your behalf. You can also visit the Welcome Center, and find more helpful resources to keep you informed and prepared to vote. Remember that registration to vote ends in North Carolina THIS FRIDAY at 5 PM. Your vote matters and your voice deserves to be heard, so make sure you are prepared for this November’s election! Go vote and Make. It. Count!
5. Ladies! It’s time to get together and have some fun! Save the date for Friday, October 23rd, from 6 PM – 10 PM for a Ladies Night Out! It will be a time of fun activities, food, and fellowshipping with your sisters in Christ! You don’t want to miss this!
6. Mark your calendars for the VCCS Kingdom Kickoff! This event will be held Friday, October 30th at 7:30 PM in the VYB Gym. Kingdom Kickoff is a night of basketball, competition, entertainment, and school spirit, featuring our basketball teams, alumni vs. students, dunk and three-point contests, dance and cheer performances, food, and more! Admission is $5 for adults, free for children 8 and under, and free for alumni! Come celebrate the legacy of Victory Christian Center School and kick off the season with us!
7. The Ministry is in need of additional volunteers to serve as the Floor Director. The Floor Director manages the activities of the service/livestream inside the sanctuary. They ensure that the service/livestream production runs smoothly and on time. They relay cues and time counts to talent, presenters and guests. This position requires being able to multitask and to think quickly and be firm but polite. If you are interested in serving in this position, please sign up at the Welcome Center.
8. If you are a skillful singer or musician, then our praise teams are a great place to use your talents in service to the Lord! We’ll train you to effectively serve and help usher in the presence of God on a weekly basis, so that lives can be transformed by the power of God! 9. Men’s Night for VCC Men ages 19 and up is held Monday nights from 6-9 PM at the Victory Youth Building.
10. Fun Night for children ages 9-18 is held Friday nights from 7-11 PM at the VYB. Appropriate attire is required.
11. Victory Family! For the 2026–2027 school year, VCCS is seeking male house parents who are willing to open their homes to our international students and serve as ambassadors of the Kingdom—providing a safe, loving, and Christ-centered “home away from home” during the academic year. If you feel led to serve in this capacity and would like to be considered to host one or two students, please stop by the Welcome Center to sign up and receive additional information.

14. The Light In The City women's shelter is in need of volunteer help cleaning the kitchen during the week Mondays through Fridays. If you are willing to help in this area, please call the Missions Office at 704-529-5888 or e-mail them at missions@vccenter.net. We appreciate your help!
15. The Missions Department is in need of baby detergent and diapers sizes 4 and 5. Items may be dropped off at the Dome Food and Clothing Room before and after service, or weekdays at the Missions Office located at Campus 3. Thank you!
16. Help us prepare students for a successful school year! The Missions Office is collecting new school supplies to support children and families in our community as they head back to school. They are accepting donations including, but not limited to, backpacks, writing utensils, folders, and notebooks. Donations may be dropped off at the Missions Office between 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM or at the Dome before and after service in the Food and Clothing Room.
17. Operation Christmas Child is currently looking to hire approximately 400 Christian men and women to fill paid positions for a four-week project with Operation Christmas Child. Seasonal employment at their Charlotte Processing Center runs from mid-November through mid-December, with the opportunity to work 40+ hours per week, Monday – Saturday, with Thanksgiving Day off. 18. The Missions Department is currently seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers to join their Food & Clothing Ministry. There is a special need for men volunteers to assist with lifting, loading, organizing, setup, and outreach support. 26. Ministry of Helps Classes are available online! There are three options to register for these classes: 1. Go to vccenter.net, click on the “serve” tab and complete the submission form. 2. Sign up at the Welcome Center or 3. Email churchoffice@vccenter.net. If you are unable to take the classes online, please call the Church Office at 704-602-6010.
27. New Members Classes are available online. If you are interested in church membership, please go to vccenter.net, click on the “New Members Classes Online” link under the “Connect” tab. Submit your first and last name and email address. Your login credentials will then be sent to you.
28. The VCC Nursery Ministry is looking for excited volunteers to work with our 2 - 4 year olds. Benefits include: instant hero status, exercise during praise and worship, unlimited high fives, and helping build a foundation for the next generation. 31. The Media Ministry has need of additional volunteers in all areas: Video, Audio, Floor Director, I-MAG and Stage & Lighting. No experience required and training will be provided. 32. Do you enjoy working behind the scenes and have a knack for technology? We’re looking for volunteers to join our I-MAG (Image Magnification) Team. We have an immediate need for volunteers for Sunday evening services! If you're comfortable with computers and can type, this is a great way to serve. No prior experience is needed—training will be provided! This is more than just pushing buttons—by serving on the I-MAG team, you are upholding our Pastor’s arms and playing a vital role in spreading the Gospel. Stop by the Welcome Center to fill out a MOH application—we’d love to have you on the team!
33. VCC Youth Fun Night for ages 9-18 needs chaperones! If you are a VCC member, at least 21 years old, completed MOH classes, have a desire/calling to work with youth and a fun personality; then we'd love for you to come serve with us! Flexible time slots are available once approved. All interested may complete a MOH application at the Welcome Center.
