When God wants to take your life to another level, He sends someone into your life. Unfortunately, the devil does the same thing. When he wants to destroy your life, he will send someone into your life. As believers, we must be led by the Holy Spirit when it comes to choosing our friends. Friends should make you better. Friends should also be people who bring you closer to God. A godly friend would never ask you to do things that will jeopardize your salvation or compromise your value system. Every now and then we need to evaluate our friendships and make sure that our friends are making us better, not causing us to get worse. We should also be sure that we are a godly influence on the people in our lives. We should strive to be the light of the world, the salt of the earth.
