📖 As soon as the meal was finished, he insisted that the disciples get in the boat and go on ahead to the other side while he dismissed the people. With the crowd dispersed, he climbed the mountain so he could be by himself and pray. He stayed there alone, late into the night. -Matthew 14:22-23 The Message

Are you spending enough time with God? We are all busy. A lot of us have a lot on our plate, but despite all that is going on in our lives, it is still vital that we get away and spend time with the Father. He wants to talk to us about what's going on in our lives. He wants to lead us and guide us, and He wants to let us know what’s up the road. God won’t force Himself on us. He won’t turn our phones off for us. He’s not going to turn the television off for us. Those are the things we must do. God will impart to us His Wisdom, but He will not force it on us. If Jesus could still away and take the time to fellowship with God, how much more should we? We are without excuse. Let’s make time for our Father in Heaven; it's always worth it when we do.
