Job 9:15 NKJV
For though I were righteous. I could not answer Him. I would beg mercy of my judge.
Job noted that even if he was righteous, he would still need mercy. It is important that we not lean on our own merits. No matter how "good" we are, we cannot earnanything from God. We must remain humble.
