Exodus 40:9 NKJV

“And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it; and you shall hallow it and all its utensils, and it shall be holy.

The tabernacle was the place set aside for worship to the Lord. The sweet smell of incense was in the air.

Sweet incense represents the prayers of God’s people. Since our bodies are God's tabernacle now, we should carry the fragrance of prayer. It is a pleasant smell in God’s nostrils.

Revelation 5:8 NKJV
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Revelation 8:3-4 NKJV
Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.  And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
